Thank you, everyone, for your kind words. I’m glad to see that many of you who’ve lost pets over the years reflect like I do about ours on seeing threads like this. It is very much appreciated and Jake will be glad to frolic with them all.

Truly sorry for your loss. Our dogs are family. Losing family is always hard- especially when you see that family member on a daily basis and they fill your life with the joy, love, and affection you put into them. It’s truly heartbreaking watching them when their short by comparison lives near the end. Each dog is as unique as any person and I remember each and every one I’ve had in great detail.
