Gary Sinise hasn’t been awarded it! I’d like to propose that the members of SigForum make the effort to persuade President Trump to remedy this oversight. I understand that the Gary Sinise Foundation just presented the 100th mortgage free home to a severely wounded U.S. Army First Sergeant. 100! BioSketch, Gary Sinise I like this video, it’s short, but it says a lot about him. I propose that Forum members email the President and request this honor for Gary Sinise. It’s easy and takes less than 5 minutes. I did it a couple months ago, and haven’t heard anything about a presentation, so I guess I wasn’t enough. Today I contacted our senior U.S. Senator, John Barrasso. I know he’s close to the President, and I asked him to say something to the President about Sinise and the Medal of Freedom. I am onboard for this as well. I wrote the White House earlier this year and received a non-response that pointed to all the great things the president was doing, but did not address the issue of awarding the medal to Mr. Sinise. I sent a message to the Vice President regarding Mr. Sinise's good works. I figured he might be a bit less busy than Mr. Trump and is a Veteran. He can pass it along with a lot more emphasis than my little note would do for the Big Feller.
