I’d sooner go myself. Thanks to the cultural subversives, there’s not much about it worth fighting for. I still will fight for my family’s liberty and for fellow patriots to the principles in the constitution and bill of rights. But the culture is sick now. You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier

I do not see anything wrong with requiring something of our youth be it the military or something else. I live in an area in which there are several large military bases. There are plenty of jobs in all branches including the Marine Corps that are not combat related. Most young veterans I have met have a skill and are quite polite. Military veterans often choose the area to retire.

People are worried about a draft because some twat on tic tok said so? It's literally a CCP tool to make Americans stupid. And it's working I guess. No president is going to send our men and women off to either of the current wars. The only real threat is when china makes their move on Taiwan but that will likely be fought at sea and in the air. So no draft for that. It's all making sense now. Was over with friends for Thanksgiving and their son (who is only 12 anyway) has interest in joining the military to learn welding. His older sister is convinced he'll end up being tossed a rifle and pushed to the front lines. She's a teenager so I'm sure she's got tiktok brain rot from one of these worthless social medial people.

No, people are worried about a draft because the world is going to shit at warp speed. Though a draft is not probable, a draft is possible, and more possible than anytime in the last 40+ years. If there's a major conflict somewhere in the world, the United States is almost certain to be involved, and considering that our military is not meeting recruitment numbers...

While I don't believe military service is the answer, some sort of service after high school is something I'd like to see. Service for 2 years in an impoverished place, in my opinion, would really go far in showing how good we have it here. Like my dad used to say, "son, America doesn't have poor people, America has lazy people." Where else do "poor" people have cell phones, cars, plenty of government assistance, name brand clothes, etc.? I think serving in an impoverished place would also cut down on a lot of this self hate so many of the youth these days have but I also blame a lot of the media and liberals for that. Many military leaders do not want to deal with people who don't want to be there. 10% of your problem people take 90% of your time.
Only if he's bad at welding.
It's going to create a lot of unhappiness for those still in: stop loss, denied retirements, medical retirements will be difficult to get approved, those in IRR (individual ready reserve) will be recalled. Guard and Reserve units will end up in 1 on, 1 off rotations. Units that typically don't deploy overseas (training units) would find themselves overseas for support activities. Those of us with combat arms as a prior MOS will be pulled for those MOSs. Despite troop shortages now, we are still being told we don't have money to send Soldiers to MOS school or schools are 1+ year out due to a long wait list. The Army, with its infinite wisdom, will pull stuff like fly Soldiers from Florida to California for training while there are classes much closer. And it's not just travel cost but lodging and meals. _____________

Completely disrupting the useless lives of these unorganized grab-asstic pieces of amphibian shit and turning them into full metal jackoffs is the answer.
