The one screenshot shows the overlapping text on my phone and the other shows how it is supposed to look. How do I fix this? I tried the internet, but can’t seem to find an answer.

I fix it by rotating my iPhone 90°, then back to vertical. Works every time I encounter the irritating overlap.

I’ve been dealing with this same issue and have been fixing it the same way. The problem occurs in landscape mode and is eliminated by turning my phone vertically to portrait mode, then back to landscape mode. It seems to only happen on this forum, from what I can tell.

I get it in portrait as well if I swipe back into a thread. Turning the screen or refreshing the browser will make it go away, but those are work arounds. I’m hoping there’s a permanent fix.

What has already been said plus, what font size are you using. I see this happen on my wife’s phone from time to time. She’s sight impaired and has her font size jacked up, creating odd display issues like this.

I’ve got my iPhone display set to zoom mode (all the better to see with) and notice that some websites will truncate and/or overlap text that appears correctly if the iPhone’s display is reset to normal unzoomed. I like the bigger display so I just live with it. Landscape/portrait flipping won’t fix it when this is the cause.

From my reading the last few days, Apple requires all iOS browsers to use the same render engine which would explain the overlapping text happening in multiple browsers. It would probably explain why all the iOS browsers I tried use the same tile tabs instead of stacked tabs.

much more pronounced on the iPad mini. I saw an article this weekend of someone filing a class action suit against apple about it. Has to do with the screen refresh rate and sculling
