Let’s line up every politician in the nation. Federal, state and local.
We have a spinning wheel with the vendor name. Each and every one gets to spin the wheel.
Since each and every one of those politicians works for us, we demand they get the shot. Even if they don’t want it.
Let’s see how long this Spike Lee bullshit lasts.

It's technically not a vaccine.
It's an emergency use, experimental, injection.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Now late May and it's "Waitaminute, maybe there is a link between the two?"

No Covid 19 vaccine for me. Caught the crud in the beginning back early 2020. Mild symptoms but taste still slightly deadened, use a bit more spice in my food and I can't really taste coffee. O neg blood type. Did 2 week quarantine. Only used mask when required to gain entry to certain venues. I worked in direct health care for over 30 years before retiring in Nov 2018. Been exposed to a whole slew of infectious diseases from Hepatitis thru HIV and no lasting ill effects. Only vaccines were the usual childhood requirements plus flu and pneumonia. Got caught up in the 1976 swine flu vaccine fiasco that gave quite a few people the Guillian Barre syndrome plus killed a few more because the U.S. Army made it mandatory for me to get. Got the worst flu in my entire life during that time after receiving the shot. NEVER AGAIN with rushed vaccines. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SFCUSARET,

175,000,000 injections and there are just a FEW mild cases of a highly treatable heart issue that MAY possibly / potentially be linked to the highly effective vaccine so you’re just gonna run?
You can also get myocarditis from alcohol or drugs use, some types of insect bites, and a range of other viruses. Are you going to watch out for those too?
You know how many people get stomach bleeding / ulcers from ibuprofen? You gonna stop taking that too?
I’m sure you’re being a bit facetious here but it’s annoying as shit when people apply this kind of dense logic to otherwise innocent / pointless news.
You’re doing exactly what the news articles floating around about this want you to do.

I had flu vaccine every year for decades. Never got flu. I swore by the vaccine.
Then, about four years ago, I got the flu shot at my doctor's office. A few weeks later I went into the hospital for a week, Guillian Barré. Transfusions, IV steroids, etc.
I was barely able to get around with a walker when I got out of the hospital. Had to ask strangers for help at the gas station because I could not unscrew the gas cap on my car. Months of physical and occupational therapy, and now, years later, I am still not fully recovered. My fingers are numb, my day is not complete if I don't drop two or three things because I can not feel what I am trying to hold. I have graduated from the walker to a cane, my wife got me an Apple watch with the fall detection feature because my balance is terrible.
The doc has me on the "no fly" list for vaccines like flu, pneumonia, etc. He assures me that the Moderna does not present the same risk, and wants me to get it. I'm still on the fence, have not decided yet.

Normally I'd trust a doctor's advice...on this though and considering your history I would exercise caution.

I'm stuck right in the middle of "damned if you do, and damned if you don't."
I am in a very high risk demographic group for The Virus. Age, and immune system screwed up by Guillain Barré, both of which argue in favor of taking every precaution, including the vaccine.
On the other hand, my Guillain Barré was triggered by a vaccine (flu), and I do not want to go through the misery of Guillain Barré again.
I really don't see a good answer, so I'm not going to rush into a decision.

I'd say this, do what your doctor says, and get a second opinion if you want.
In the end there are 30k infections a day out of 330m people. Chances are you aren't going to run into someone who's both infected and shedding the virus. It's a tough call, I am in no way advising one or the other.

I once ascribed to that belief. Things I've experienced at the hands of Western medicine doctors:
Doc three docs back was about to recommend back surgery. My wife gave me a homeopathic remedy, did shiatsu, got me back to the point I could stretch again. The doc was amazed when I walked into it office entirely pain-free and completely mobile two weeks later. "How did you do that?"
My doc two docs back freaked-out when I told her I was doing High-Intensity Interval Training and getting my heart rate up to 172 BPM. Apparently I shouldn't have been doing that at my age
That same doc, after hearing "something" during a wellness check, did an EKG. Saw something. Sent me off for a heart sonogram. Sonogram tech, about 3/4's of the way through, asks "Are you a runner?" "No, but I do HIIT." "Well, your doctor should have known better. You simply have a runner's heart."
That same doctor wanted to put me on artificial testosterone supplementation because my T levels were low. I used an herbal remedy that encourages the body to produce more T on its own. Problem solved--without the increased cancer risk engendered by the use of artificial testosterone supplementation.
She also wanted to put me on some-or-another anxiety/depression medication. I solved that with regular exercise.
Subsequent doctor: Pretty much the same routine. Something awry? Prescription drugs. Same thing happened with the low T. Same thing happened with enlarged prostate (solved with saw palmetto).
That doc also suggested I had COPD. I guess because I used to be a smoker I must have COPD by default. Meanwhile a VO² Max test showed my oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold to be those of a healthy male about half my age. (I've since done a DIY COPD check by watching the differences in blood oxygenation between rest and cardio exercise. No indication of COPD from that, either.)
When I went into my last doc for a wellness check I was down to fighting trim. I had been mildly overweight the prior year. He expressed concern over my weight loss, despite the fact I appeared healthy in all respects. "Aren't you concerned?" he asked. "No," I replied, "this is normal for me when I'm working out regularly and controlling my diet. (My body fat percentage was probably hovering around 15-18%.) He expressed skepticism. (I guess Western docs aren't used to seeing healthy people?)
One doc nearly killed my wife with an acid reflux medication. My wife suspected something was not right and could get no traction with her current doc regarding her concerns. She switched docs. Next thing she knows she's getting a call from her new doc on a Saturday, telling her to get into the emergency room right now!. Turned out the acid reflux medication had so lowered her magnesium levels she was at severe risk of imminent heart failure!
I no longer have the trust in doctors I once did.

That is a standard screening question for vaccines. I would assume it would be from whomever would be administering the shots or whomever the appointment being set up online is with. Every vaccine I administered in 9 years as an immunizing pharmacist, I asked that question (among others) before giving the shot.
