sigmoidI'd eat the same as the " last supper"
With the same person, it will be alright

StorminNorminIf I had a last meal and could have anything I wanted and had the appetite to actually eat, then I would order just about freaking everything and have a small bite of each. My list would be way too long to list, but it would be just about everything I could think of that I have ever liked in my life. It sure as hell would not be a meal with a side and a dessert. It would be so many meals, so many sides, and so many desserts!!!!

Exactly what I had in mind, made the way you described. These days it's so difficult to pass up a homemade meal like that. Though, just one minor swap..I'd like a slice of Key Lime pie loaded up with the whip creme!

craglawnmanorA nice, thick, medium rare cheeseburger, made with really good beef. Currently, I'm on a Swiss Cheese thing (mmmm, Baby Swiss), but it could be Colby Jack, Sharp Cheddar, even American Cheese, as I haven't had that in a number of years.
But, I'd like to cook the cheeseburger myself, as I wouldn't want anyone to screw it up.
Onion rings would be nice for a side, but I'd be fine with crunchy Cheetos.
I don't really care about dessert, as I've been a Type 1 Diabetic for 36+ years. Since it wouldn't matter, maybe a few handfuls of good old M&M's.

I failed to specify one thing--the green beans and/or mixed greens HAVE to be seasoned with pork! ("Mixed greens" contain spinach, mustard greens, Poke Salad, swisschard, turnip greens, etc., and are cooked. Collards are acceptable if you have them.)
Also, you need to fry up at least 2 or 3 times as much steak as you need for the meal, so you have some to snack on later.

I've had meals similar, that the greens were substituted with corn, both on the cob, and regular servings, that even smothered in the gravy and butter were just fine for my tastes..dang, these suggestions are making me hungry

slabsides45Gus' fried chicken (Downtown Memphis locale), Grits a YaYa from the Fish House in Pensacola, a fat steak from Como Steakhouse, and some fried crab claws and seafood platter from Doc's Seafood (the one over on Canal Rd, not that new location). Plus, it'd buy me some time while they went 'tween spots.

RogueJSKA half dozen smoked-then-fried buffalo wings, a chicken-fried ribeye steak with skin-on mashed potatoes, a few jalapeno-stuffed and bacon-wrapped grilled shrimp, and a large slice of apple pie, with a couple big Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen beers to wash it all down.

justjoeA big bag of Lay's potato chips, and a pitcher of pilsner. Followed, at some interval, by a bottomless sack of Crispy Creme donuts and a pot of coffee, with cream. Hand me that honey dipped, please. Hell, just give me the whole sack and top off my coffee....

r0gueI certainly wouldn't want to 100% commit to this as my true last meal, but my first thought for a "happy food" to remember was Hostess Ho-Hos as a kid, in a lunchbox. Yes, a real honest to goodness steel lunch box. Mine was Star Wars Empire Strikes Back. Ho-Ho eating methodology is different for everyone I suppose. I'd nibble the ends off, unroll them, and proceed to disassemble and consume them.
So to a degree, this would extend my life a bit!
