There’s nothing that I enjoy eating more than a salad. Bitter greens, orange and yellow bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers. A bit of basil, oregano, turmeric, salt and pepper. Throw in a handful of mixed nuts and apple cider vinegar. Let it set for a couple hours and then chow down.

Or maybe some tacos.

If you mean the one given to a condemned person before execution, what's the point if you know you're going to die anyway? However, some of these meals do sound good.

Two things I rarely get to eat so much nowadays but have thoroughly enjoyed in the past: fresh Copper River King, cracked peppercorn-raked and butter sauted, and a slab of tenderloin Wagyu, seared and wrapped with bacon from Smoking Goose, slices bourbon-marinated and grilled to perfection. No veggies, because it's the end and who cares about the cholesterol and fiber and all that healthy crap at this point, right? A glass or two of Macallan 25yr to go with it, only because I never had anything from a $2500 bottle of scotch before. Dessert would be a honkin' BIG sumo mandarin orange in slices, over a cradle of vanilla ice cream from Sweet Alchemy (lactose intolerance be damned), all drizzled with blackberry liqueur. Then all of it washed down with diet Pepsi, because I almost always wash everything down with diet Pepsi. No use changing habits now, right? Yeah, I think that would do me.

Well...or a Jack Daniels burger from Burger Madness, deep-fried 'srooms and a strawberry shake. Do miss having shakes... Frown

I'll go with the all you can eat buffet option and carefully pace my consumption in an attempt to delay the proceedings to the greatest extent the officials would tolerate.
