J6 didn’t pan out the way the left was hoping for; they are pushing for a real “insurrection” with all of their treasonous acts. Freedom of speech, 2A threatened, the border invasion, and a false justice system run amuck.

We need honest fair and balanced media whatever is left to keep the spotlight on these two so that these are their last elected positions. They need to be shown for the totalitarian tools they are.

The Democrats will try to duplicate the formula anywhere they can.
If the courts don't toss it, they will refine it a bit more.

Hopefully the adults in higher courts will give them a good spanking and end this.

What is being done to Trump shows us a major change has happened to the baseline philosophy of very many Americans. Using any means possible to defeat one's opponent is built into the human brain, as is the desire for ever more power. We used to understand that acting on those urges was unacceptable in a society that values human liberty. And so we valued the rule of law based in the values of the founding documents in order to keep society civil.

The citizenry believed in the institutions set up to preserve and protect liberty.

Now the guard rails have been removed. People who overtly believe there is nothing wrong with doing anything at all to further their own interests now infest many institutions which used to be the guardrails.

Many ordinary citizens endorse the lawlessness if it helps their team. This to me is the most worrisome part of it.

What is even worse than this is the Carroll verdict. There was literally zero evidence outside of hearsay that Trump had even met Carroll in person and yet the jury and judge worked in collusion to try and defame Trump. The fact that a random person you've never met can just accuse you of raping them X number of years ago and the legal system will entertain it is pretty damn terrifying. The whole legal system is so rigged against Trump at this point you'd think it was a god-damned pirate ship manned by boy scouts.

I still watch some Fox, specifically Trace Gallagher. He had a businessman from LA on whose business has been "tortured" by a crazy naked woman hanging around. He sent a City Council member (I think it was) a photo of this naked woman passed out on the street next to his business.

The response was "You've crossed a boundary"--sending a photo of a naked woman. Maybe he'll get charged with sending pornography.
