Don't need and but always looking and pricing . Wal mart has them,on the bottom of the can is a sticker [MADE IN CHINA] the real ones can be gotten by web search and delivery. A few years back I found a guy in M N with the REAL ONES [name SLIPS ME]I bought fifty for around five bucks each on that quantity. They all were dirty,and some had some sand inside

The last time I bought any, it was 8 full years ago. We went to National Gun Day on the Sunday. Got there kind of early (like before the show opened)and found a guy in the back who still had most of his pallet full, intact. His $12 price quickly dropped to half of that. Better still my oldest son was along. He traded his drivers license to the vendor for the use of his push cart. All I had to do was pay up, then as my son was hauling the first load to the van, I was getting the second load ready. Its how I got a basement wall covered 6 high. Still half empty, and I don't care.

Costco does have a good deal on metal ammo cans you get two in the deal. Harbor Freight has deals on them from time to time as well...

Just checked my Walmart cans against the other cans I have. The Walmart cans stack atop what I believe to be The Real Deal, and the "real" cans stack atop some of the Walmart cans properly. But the real can I tested wobbles a bit atop the latest Walmart can.
How anybody can screw up something this trivially easy is beyond me.
