OttoSigAnyone live in Kenosha county WI?
As I mentioned before, if my move to Great lakes goes through I will be moving just across the border so I don't have to worry about firearms or silly laws in IL.
I want to give it a go in the camper while I am there and I am looking for help, direction, input for areas.
I have a friend here that will let me park it in his yard for the next year, but I got NO friends in WI. Trying to find someone willing to let me pay some rent to park and use electricity and water. IDEALLY that is.

rizzleYour friends yard for next year , is that in WI? Just wondering because Kenosha County does not seem to play well with living in RV while parked in yard.

Depends where you live in Wisconsin. Clearly, Kenosha is not an option. A rural area may be fine.

sourdough44I am one County to the West, Walworth. I don’t have a good option with the camper though. Other than that, if you need info. I’ve been here since 95.
I’ll edit with this; I’m near Lyons, WI look it up. I’m on a quiet 5 acres, tucked away, can do anything here. Major bonus points if you can take care of my German Shepherd while I’m gone.
Depending on how private & what municipality your friend is in, can’t see it being a problem early on.
If able, you are spot on with setting up quarters North of the border. I had a friend who years ago moved to CA near the NV border. I wondered, why didn’t you hop the line to NV?
