Is there a way to find out what I might have paid for it ? Bought it in Phoenix at a shop near the mall by I-17. $499.00 ? $549.00 ? Ruger P90 bi-tone Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

Aah, detail! You're in luck. I have the exact gun, P90T, also bought back in the 90s. I'll get you the price later, when I get home, but if memory serves me right, it was less than $400. Still have it. My favorite .45 of all. Q

If the place has closed, which I assume it has since you did not mention just asking them, maybe call the BATFE and ask them, they will have the paper work. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

The ATF keeps paperwork of the price? That's a new one on me. Q

I have a zippered canvas bag with almost every receipt of every gun I ever bought. Sits in the safe. Some are on thermal paper and are near impossible to read after sitting in a wallet for a few weeks while I waited the 10+ days to pick up in CA. Regardless I have an excel sheet with same data plus more for every gun as well including the FFL where acquired

I remember going in after something different . But the counter guy directed me to it. And I had read a couple of articles about it. I checked other shops for a better price, but his price was best. Nobody that has shot it has bad mouthed it at all. But they were not overly ecstatic either. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. I would bet that Ruger could at least tell you what the suggested retail was for it back then.

According to the 1993 Ruger catalog, MSRP on a KP90 was $488.65. So we can assume actual shop price was probably about 3/4 of that. Therefore your vague recollection of about $400 is reasonable. That'd be about 3/4ths of MSRP, after sales tax.

I would bet around $350 to $400. I remember my date paying $300 for a P-95 NIB in 1998. Proverbs 28:1

Because he's curious? Because he wants something to talk about? Because he's trying to chart the appreciation/depreciation of his firearm collection? Because like Philip J. Fry he used the purchase price as the pin code to one of his bank accounts, but now he's forgotten it? Who cares? He asked. We're attempting to answer.

A first time guy was interested in purchasing it. And I've only lost money on two of the 8 guns I've sold. He shot four mags though it and I told him to shoot four other guns prior to deciding. He doesn't " need" one he just wants one. ![]() I found nine mags total for it so far. ![]() Surprise! This message has been edited.
