Stress test : ultra sound vs nuke type Login/Join
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

I had a stress test in May (passed!) but it was an ultra sound type. I have had the nuclear type in the past and just wonder how they compare for accuracy.
I know there are some cardic doctors on board, what say you?

They’re about equivalent in accuracy, stress echo is easier to do and no radiation; both much better than plain ECG stress test.
In my last cardiology position we did probably 10:1 stress echoes. Nuclear stress tests reserved for those who can’t exercise, and for certain other reasons.
