That whole Jen Psaki response was good. She is very good. So infuriatingly good. I cannot listen or read what she says without the ability to control my emotions. Her condescension, matter-of-fact calm tone, and inflections on particular words bring out pure hate for her.

Few humans and roles are as inherently vile and untrustworthy as the Press Secretary for a Presidential Administration, any Administration. Their entire job and purpose in life is to spin the stories for effect. Master Wordsmiths and Manipulators, never to be trusted, never to be believed, and utterly incapable of straight talk.

The Venn Diagram between Press Secretaries, Sleazy Attorneys, Cult Leaders, and the spokespeople for Dictators is nearly a single perfect circle.

This one should be interesting! I feel bad for the jury in cases like these - due to the situation they are in and that's not the way our legal system is supposed to work. Hopefully the jury makes some rational decisions, but I worked on a case once where a gang banger literally identified himself by his street/gang name in a recorded jailhouse video call, and the jury decided that since they were unsure if he was still an active gang member...they couldn't decide on a verdict (eye roll).

I think the general consensus is that, aside from closing arguments, the defense did an admirable job of trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but Rittenhouse is so obviously not guilty and the prosecution was so obviously corrupt and inept that he’s likely to be acquitted anyway.

Personally, I think it’s mostly a toss-up between a hung jury and acquittal. I think I remember hearing that if the verdict comes back guilty, Rittenhouse might have grounds for appeal due to prosecutorial misconduct, but IANAL.

Anybody here wondering if the Jury is considering what is on tonight's menu (provided they are be sequestered) before coming back with their ruling?

I noted earlier that they had KFC for lunch. They deserve something catered from some of Kenosha's sit down venues. I have had people tell me they like being sequestered and staying in upscale hotels that are nicer than their homes.

They are not sequestered…

Hopefully he is acquitted.

Goes back to high school and gets his diploma. Being a high school drop out is not something one wants on their resume.

Awhile ago the jury asked for eleven (11) copies of the first six pages of the jury instruction.

Those pages detail the privilege's regarding self-defense.

So can someone post and circle where Kyle was pointing/aiming gun that the prosecution claimed provocation?

I simply don't see it. How can that be irrefutable evidence?

Asshat prosecutors like using words like “irrefutable” to lull jurors into believing it’s true.

Anyone here watch the prosecution closing argument. When they repeated that a skate board could not be considered a weapon. Somehow I wanted to smack him with one
