Well, God Bless the sovereign state of Texas.

Trump may not get the nomination, and he may not win even if he does get the nomination, but by God, it is refreshing to hear someone stand up and say all these things about the pathetic excuse for a president we have now and about his disgusting and inept leftist horse shit policies.

Thank you very much for sharing this article.
Can't begin to tell you how good it felt to read it.
To see optimism again, what a relief.
There are so many folks voicing the frustration we are enduring.
So looking forward to the mega-super steamroller that I hope this will become.

An hour and a half speech - no notes or teleprompters.
Meanwhile the Liar-in-Thief was spouting off that it was "un-American" to deny illegal immigrants taxpayer funded college tuition. You know, the old "it's not who we are" crap he is always spouting...
Obama says it's un-American to deny illegals taxpayer funded college degree

When was it decreed that
anybody is owed a college education? I must not have been paying attention that day.
I earned mine. Paid my own way through. Working together as a team, we earned and paid for Mrs. V-Tail's Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Her two sons (my step-sons) each earned a Bachelor's, and one of them a JD. Not one penny of tax payer money was involved.
Why should we have to pay anything, anything at all, for college education for illegal immigrants. Or for anybody at all, for that matter.
If Barack Hussein Obama thinks that we should, he has his head so far up his ass that he needs a glass belly-button to see where he's going.

Bingo! It's not that Trump is so popular, smart or chocked full of good ideas. It's that the country has had enough of the self serving politicians.

AndybI can't remember the last time people were genuinely excited. Thats what I appreciate about all of this.
And watching The Donald manipulate the media, thats fun too.

justjoeYes, Megyn Kelly began pushing Carson shortly after the debate that blew up in her face. I often watch the first five minutes of her show just to see what they are up to these days. They are flogging Carson as the anti-Trump. Modest, a man of faith and humility, brilliant,
such a nice man. Which he well may be. Washington will chew him up and spit him out.

parabellumHaven't you heard, Andy? Carson is in a "virtual dead heat" with Trump. Did you know that? I didn't know that. I'm better informed now. Yeah.

You are correct.
This is the first thing Megyn Kelley leads with everyday.
But it is primarily just her pushing the "tie" narrative.
Everyone else sees it differently.
I don't see Carson packing stadiums and everyone and their brother covering it.

I'm afraid he would be a republican version of Jimmy Carter

The establishment GOPe still wants Jeb. He's their man. But.... they are starting to hedge their bets. They think that they can fund a guy like Carson and own him.
This is what makes The Donald so important, so valuable to those who oppose the GOPe: In getting them to hedge their bets, Trump is dividing the GOPe, which is exactly how the GOPe has kept any conservative from winning the nomination, ever since Reagan.
Trump has upset the apple cart.

Donald Trump is an unknown quantity, Ted Cruz is the clear Constitutional conservative. But Cruz probably can't win without being on team Trump in one way or the other. He won't say a negative word about Trump for two reasons: If The Donald fizzles, he hopes to pick up his supporters. If The Donald wins, he would make an excellent VP choice.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

46and2Carson seem likes an excellent person to run a Research Facility, maybe a Mayo Hospital location, some huge not for profit Corporation, perhaps even Surgeon General for a Republican President, but not as President of the United States Himself.
Would he be better than Obama, or Hillary, sure, but that's not the appropriate metric.

Well said. I'm as open to anyone to an alternative to the status quo, but I continue to be puzzled by those who support a candidate who may have fine ideas but has, to the best of my knowledge, no depth of experience in management, economic governance, navigating complex political bureaucracies, etc. I'm not sold on Trump yet, but his business/management experience is certainly far better suited to the White House than a physician. I don't mean at all to diminish Carson's accomplishments, but I don't see how they possibly translate to Presidential skills.
