Donald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
Here's a brief Seinfeld interlude for the I-ain't-votin'-for-that-mean-man-Trump crowd:

Jerry: Excuse me I’d like to return this jacket.
Teller: Certainly. May I ask why?
Jerry: For spite.
Teller: Spite?
Jerry: That’s right. I don’t care for the salesman that sold it to me.
Teller: I don’t think you can return an item for spite.
Jerry: What do you mean?
Teller: Well if there was some problem with the garment. If it were unsatisfactory in some way, then we could do it for you, but I’m afraid spite doesn’t fit into any of our conditions for a refund.
Jerry: That’s ridiculous, I want to return it. What’s the difference what the reason is.
Teller: Let me speak with the manager…excuse me ………….Bob!
(walks over to the manager and whispers)
Teller ……..spite…..(Manager walks over)
Bob: What seems to be the problem?
Jerry : Well I want to return this jacket and she asked me why and I said for spite and now she won’t take it back.
Bob: That’s true. You can’t return an item based purely on spite.
Jerry:. Well So fine then ..then I don’t want it and then that’s why I’m returning it.
Bob: Well you already said spite so……
Jerry: But I changed my mind..
Bob: No…you said spite…Too late.

..and this "strategy" worked wonderfully in 2012 Roll Eyes.

Give me a fuckin break.

This really shows RINO thinking. All these years when the Repubs nominated an Establishment candidate (Dole, McCain, Romney) & us Tea Party / Libertarians were admonished over & over again about how we had to support the socialist Republican candidate, (because they WERE better than a Democrat, & NEXT time we will nominate a true conservative). But now that we have someone who MIGHT be a conservative, the Establishment Repubs will not support our guy, & are just as apt to vote Dem.

I can't say that I have ever paid that much attention in prior races, but is this the typical point in time that candidates start getting really specific?

I have heard get fairly specific on some things, but I haven't really seen it reported. Seems the media is more interested in who he's talking about than what he's talking about.

That's because he has no real plans, at least not realistic plans. Hope I'm wrong, but he appears to be nothing but a big bag of hot air to me. I see him running away with the nomination and I hen getting destroyed by whoever the dems put up.

That's because there are no viable realistic plans. I am not going to take the time to look up the numbers and create a mathematically correct comparison but let me ask you this. If you were making $50K/year and you were $2 million in debt what would your plan be? We are screwed.

Here's the exchange I'd like to witness:

Reporter: "Mr. Trump, with what do you propose to replace Obamacare?"

Trump: "Nothing"

There are lots of viable realistic means of digging a country out of debt. Unfortunately they are not palatable to much of the electorate that is used to getting lots of free stuff, so they require better than average leadership to push through. I am not a great businessman like Trump but I can imagine not spending more than you earn is step one. Investing, nurturing, and/or encouraging wealth creation would be next. Many of his ideas actually suggest that these are the steps he is considering. The details TBA.

So I'm watching Greta on Fox and their showing the Dallas Trump Crusade of 20K.
O'Reilly comes on and all their talking about is Trump and it's killing Krauthammer.
Turn over for a second to CNN and their broadcasting live the Trump Crusade.

I'd like to thank you for one of the stupidest posts I've seen in a few months. Your guy is losing so you go to bat for the other team? Fuck that noise. Why the fuck would you vote for a party that is hell bent to limit your right to keep and bear arms? Are you a troll? Do you haz the stupid? Are you bitter? Are you a closet democrat?

I can understand sitting out the election but voting dem because your bitter is absofuckinglutely stupid.

Net Result = Socialist in the White House. Seriously, don't feel compelled to go vote for a socialist, just stay home and you'll get exactly what you would have voted for all from the comfort of your couch. You won't have to lift a finger. Win-Win.

Donald and Carly, yea, that's the ticket. Donald could run his mouth, and ole Carly could make things happen. Besides, Donald has good hair (it's real for god's sake), and Carly is a babe.

Even if Trump wanted her for VP, she would lose respect among women voters if she subjugated herself to Donald Trump after the remark he made about her.

I'd like to see her tasked with fixing the Department of Education (assuming it won't just be shuttered anytime soon) and think such a role is more in line with her experience and skills.

Good article about the Trump rally in Dallas

Had this line:
quote:
'You're going to remember this evening,' he said as his hour and a half on stage wound down, 'and you're going to say to your children, and you're going to say to anybody else, that we were part of a movement to take back our country.'

Serious talk for a serious man who noted that it's been months since he's heard naysayers call him a 'clown.'
