Exactly, rustpot. One either has that degree of survival instinct/training or they don't. In the same way no kidnapper or some such will ever put me in a van, or carjack me, or tie me up, without a fight to the end right then and there because some like us will stand their ground rather than be put in that submissive position which often inevitably leads to their subsequent death or enslavement, which I find that utterly intolerable and unacceptable.

He says the numbers he is getting suggest the large turnout is for Democrats.
He also says the Democrats have won the Senate.

ETA: Part of the delay in calling SC is that there are a whopping 7 nominees on the ballot for POTUS.

NC has extended voting by up to 1 hour in the Dem stronghold of Durham County, citing "computer glitches."

Florida is in 2 time zones, they really should wait.
People forget that in 2000, the networks called the state for Gore while the panhandle was still voting.
Election officials said they had long lines when the news came out and that the lines evaporated.
