I'm with you on this - for some reason this time I am feeling far more anxious than even 2008 or 2012?

I may have to re-assess my dislike for the Patriots...(though I've always liked Belichick)

Belichick indeed wrote a letter to Trump

On Monday night, Donald Trump read at a New Hampshire rally a letter he said he received from Patriots coach Bill Belichick. Tom Curran of CSN New England reports that Belichick did indeed send “a note” to Trump on Monday.

“Congratulations on a tremendous campaign,” Trump said, quoting the letter. “You have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media, and have come out beautifully – beautifully. You’ve proved to be the ultimate competitor and fighter. Your leadership is amazing. I have always had tremendous respect for you, but the toughness and perseverance you have displayed over the past year is remarkable. Hopefully tomorrow’s election results will give the opportunity to make America great again. Best wishes for great results tomorrow.”

Belichick hasn’t publicly commented on the issue, and the team has yet to issue any statement about the specific authenticity of the words Trump attributed to Belichick. Absent a denial from Belichick that the words were in any way embellished or that the note wasn’t meant to be shared with the electorate, it’s fair to assume that Belichick wrote what Trump said — and that Belichick authorized it to be publicized.

Belichick won’t be available to reporters until Wednesday. Whether and to what extent he addresses the situation in detail may depend on whether Trump prevails today.

Another 4 in the box for Trump. My son, and my wife lined up at 5:45AM to get in line (polls opened at 6AM in my location in Northern, VA). She said when they left, the line was well outside the building.

I arrived at 7:15, and it wasn't bad at all - somewhat busy, but not outrageously so. My daughter, who voted in her first presidential election, voted via absentee ballot.

On a good note.

NYC is deploying 5,000 police in order to maintain security at polling sites and to make sure there is no voter intimidation. i assume there is an elevated terror threat level as well.

“We’re going to win so much. You’re going to get tired of winning. You’re going to say, ‘Please, Mr. President, I have a headache. Please, don’t win so much,’” he vowed.

Arrived at our polling place 0845. Medium to large Methodist Church. There was a sheriff's deputy at the intersection a 1/2 mile away directing traffic. EVERY PARKING LOT PLUS BOTH ATHLETIC FIELDS WERE FULL OF CARS. At least 500-600 cars there. The line went around three sides of the church BEFORE you got inside. YUUUUUGGGGGEEEE turnout.

Fifty-five minutes later done!

Good for us! This looks very good.

Trump voter here.

In VERY Republican Idaho, but Idaho that voted Cruz in the primary {me, too}.

BUT...

In every previous pres election I have SEEN Dem bumper stickers and a few signs out in our county.

This time?

NOT A SINGLE HILLARY ANYTHING.

Meaning? Not sure, but I hope it means Trump wins.

More MSM crap. Do these people ever give up?

One tip that I've used the last few years when voting. I always take the blue ballot when they hand it out so the crazies leave me alone. Works like a charm and makes me feel better knowing they think they have another vote when they don't. I also live in Mecklenburg and my area is very dark.

#534 at my location at 10:30 this morning. It was a little more congested than in the past but I picked a time that should be the slowest. Another Michigan vote for Trump.

Man, that was the longest voting experience of my life! I was in line at 8:45am and got to vote an hour later.

There was a very long line that stretched down and around the hallways at the high school that I was designated to vote at in the Philly suburbs.

The end part where you show your ID and confirm you are who who really are was the hold up, they only had 3 people set up to do that. One person takes your ID, and looks through the voter registry for your name, then they match your id to the address, third person triple confirms and gives you another book to sign your name under the matched address.

Hey, got it over with, but they need to streamline that a bit.

For those who haven't voted yet, please take the time to do a little research on those running to be or retained as judges. You can usually find the compilation of evaluations of candidates by local bar associations.
