That always seems to be the case anywhere Trump goes. Same back when obama was campaigning. Certainly not the case with Hillary though!

The Media can say what they want they know the truth.

They are worried that after this election, regardless the outcome, they are not trusted by half the people of this country.
That's what they don't like.

And it's their own fault for being shills for the Democrats.

I think I might have to do a media blackout for 2 days. I just can't take it right now. I have a pit in my stomach. Despite all of the evidence of felonious behavior, the dumbass liberals still think she is a safer choice than Trump. I just don't get it.

They're trusted by a good deal less than half.

Thirty-two percent of the respondents in Gallup’s most recent national poll said that they have “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of trust in the mass media, an eight percentage-point drop compared to 2015.

Yep. Like Dan Rather and his achievement award after being busted for faking a news story about Bush during the election. It was propaganda. Worse, it was a lie and propaganda. But he got his award from his peers when they circled the wagons.

Those numbers seem high.

It was said that there were 10k or so outside, which would leave 20-40k inside, and while I realize that airplane hangers are large, it still sounds quite high. By way of example, the largest college basketball arena in the US (Syracuse) only holds 35k and it's abnormally large, with most arenas like that holding 10-20k. So that airplane hanger is even bigger than the arena in Syracuse? Maybe, I guess. Seems unlikely, though.

I just got home from a trip to town. Heard on the radio that the lines of cars on the roads were FOUR MILES LONG.

No idea who many people were at these rallies, but they are always swamped with people, some of whom wait for hours and hours.

The grassroots enthusiasm for Trump is like nothing I've ever seen. If Trump isn't elected President, the blame rests solely & unmistakably with the Republican establishment, for not giving him their backing. Yes, I'm talking to the likes of you, Ryan, the Bushes, Kasich, etc.

Looks like a metric fuckton of people doesn't it? Yet, the maximum capacity of the venue is only 8100, and the venue only has 4400 seats...

Now, Trump clearly draws big crowds, has lots of real support, etc, and 8100 isn't a small number, but it's less than one might think, visually speaking.

So.

He fills any venue to capacity and has another few thousand outside. What's your point?

I grew up in Sterling Heights. It's the cradle of UAW workers, just about everyone there either works for the auto industry or depends on it. It's blue collar manufacturing middle class suburbia heaven. It's a good sign if Trump does well there.

I just got another email from the DJT campaign requesting a donation.

I'm considering it, but does it make sense at this late point? I thought donation money was for other republicans as Donald was self funding?

I was thinking last night about how hard Trump is campaigning and how little the Republican Party has helped him the last 4 months.

Especially compared to the DEM support to Clinton. Hillary Clinton went into a protective shell to absolutely minimize the time she was exposed to the voters.

Her surrogates were the sitting president and his wife (the obamas), the vice president (Biden), Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, her husband Bill Clinton, her pathetic VP candidate Kaine, Hollywood entertainers, & sports figures. She had strong support from Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and Nancy Pelosi.

Trump was abandoned by the REP senate majority leader and House Speaker. He was openly campaigned against by other REP primary candidates (Jeb Bush, John Kasich), insulted by Cruz at the convention, aggressively campaigned against by the 2012 REP candidate (Romney), rejected by the 2008 REP candidate (McCain), openly attacked by the last 2 REP presidents (Bush 41 and 43) who have indicated they support Clinton, abandoned by most conservative media (if not outright attacked), attacked by a number of REP governors, attacked by the last 2 REP Secretaries of State (Rice and Powell), and attacked by a sitting member of the Supreme Court (Ginsburg).

This is a very close election right now. Think what it would have been like if the Republican Party had gotten behind Trump like the Democrats supported Clinton.

That's where I am. I signed off FB with a single post saying so. Maybe we can get back to photos of what others had for dinner, cats/dogs, and the misfortune of others on Wednesday.
As for other forms of media...I'm avoiding them until late Tuesday evening. My mind has long been made up.

Trump is not self funding the general election. That would be impossible. He needs donations.
