I think it's extremely telling that the media is no longer spending 90% of air time bashing Trump. Instead they are agreeing with him and finally pressing on Hildabeast. They know their pony lost and are backtracking as hard as they can before Trump wins.

Please help me understand. If the FBI, with all the information on the table, decided last July not to prosecute, what could they possibly have now that is any different than what they had earlier this year? They had proof then that she sent classified emails, proof that she violated her security clearance, and a 100 other things. Wouldn't this new information basically fall into the same category as the other crimes for which she was not prosecuted? The FBI basically cleared her of *everything* in July. Even if they found 1000's of emails on Weiner's computer, wouldn't they just be more of the same?

You make a good point. What has changed? Comey is now convinced that Trump is going to win and he needs to position himself to be viewed favorably in a Trump Administration. Back when it looked like Hitlery might win, he was safe where he was. He is no longer safe.

That, plus the FBI didn't tell us everything they found. Wikileaks is publishing everything. If they publish something truly incriminating, that the FBI already had in their files, the heat on Comey could be unbearable. I see this latest volley as Comey attempting to do damage control.
