Some on here are making Trump into a Saint. To say that Trump doesn't see the POTUS job for the power aspect of it is at least a little bit blinded.
I want Trump to win it all, especially for his illegal and legal immigration views and his brash my-way-or-the-highway way of dealings. However I also do have some reservations about him.

Trump certainly doesn't have any transportation problems, and I suspect they are just as plush as anything our government owns.
His plane was on the Smithsonian channel might planes about a month or so ago. Really nice plane!

The man has a colossal ego. Of course the power of being POTUS must attract him. But that goes without saying: Name the last POTUS who did not have a colossal ego? Who was not drawn to the power of POTUS?
I don't care that he is rude and arrogant. His message has been the breath of life for this nation. It's easy now to forget, or overlook, what this election would be like *without* Trump.

Actually the opposite. There's no doubt the electorate on the Right and even the Left to some degree want a political outsider. Now, someone like Ben Carson for example fits the bill and so could a lot of others. But if you are an outsider that means everyone on the "inside" will be out to get you. Will they be able to handle that? Will they be able to appeal to the American people on TV and on social media and gain popular support? Trump is our political social media honey badger and pit bull rolled into one. And that is exactly what we need right now in American politics.
Maybe we won't get anything we want because Congress and Supreme Court puts him in check. But can he expose corruption, waste, incompetence, and just outright stupidity? That would be a good start. A big honking boulder called POTUS in the Federal Gov't's shoes. Here's your chance America. Take it!
__________________________ They keep saying they just want "sensible gun laws" but they hold up countries where they are banned and confiscated as their ideal. Antis thinks guns are only good for killing people. I think guns are good for self defense. So I'm the one with the "problem"? The Bill of Rights affirms the Rights of the Individual Not the State. Anyone tells me different is a liar.

Well, if August is any indication, Megyn Kelly was not hurt in her show's ratings. She apparently beat O'Reilly, and had the highest numbers on Fox News.

Classic Con Man - he tries to inspire confidence in dupes. Not a Ponzi scheme- in that the Donald has already established his con - he is a builder. Will he be better than a community organizer, or an outright liar with Hillary? Can he act as President. Can you really see him finessing bills between the two houses?
He can draw crowds, & stir up voters. Then what?

these are reasonable questions, if one believes the others already in D.C. are actually accomplishing anything much of value. whatever differences exist between Trump and the rest doesn't seem to add up to anything useful, in the last few decades...
a distinction without a difference, they say.

Bush would have been a challenge for Romney this go around. And well.... We see how well he is doing. Romney wouldn't fair much better.

I imagine that most of his Tea Party inclined supporters want as few bills as possible to pass. Who wants more laws to be enacted, the big gov repubs that take every chance to attack Trump, like yourself?

Actually... if Mitt got in that would only subdivide the Jeb vote. I'd welcome it. Neither would have a chance, unless Jeb dropped out.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I saw something saying Trump would only take a dollar a year as pay. If that doesn't buy a shitload of votes, what will?

I dont see that happening. He would be better off saying he would donate it to charity.
