Has he ever read the Constitution? Does he not understand the Constitutional Amendment process?
if asking for it isn't the first step, what is?

It's simple, but not easy.
I imagine he has read it, and his legal advisors certainly have.
Calling for a Constitutional Amendment is the easy part.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I think I may have a stroke before the election.
I am very afraid he will lose. I keep trying to think of contingency plans.
I really hope he sticks more to the issues in this next debate.

No need to explain the details in a stump speech. It's a good position to take for an anti-incumbent candidate.

Don't underestimate the anti-establishment sentiment. I'd like to think the BREXIT election was of the same type of response to come. Unexpected, unpolled, & devastating.

The thing about all of that is that NOBODY has any idea about what is actually going on. I really don't see how anyone can say that Trump winning is a "surprise". Because, if Trump winning is a "surprise", it means that the "surprised" is paying attention to what they are being fed by the media.

Of course he has and he knows the process. This is what candidates do and is the first step in the process. Your candidate has called for a constitutional amendment that would overturn the First Amendment:
Clinton will push constitutional amendment to ‘overturn Citizens United’
ST. LOUIS — Hillary Clinton will call for a constitutional amendment to "overturn Citizens United" in her first 30 days as president and plans to make that announcement today to progressive activists at the annual Netroots Nation conference.
"I will also appoint Supreme Court justices who understand that this decision was a disaster for our democracy," Clinton will say in a video message, scheduled to run near the end of today's final keynote session. "I will fight for other progressive reforms, including small-dollar matching and disclosure requirements. I hope some of the brilliant minds in this room will seek out cases to challenge Citizens United in the courts."

Hillary voters cannot seem to name any of her accomplishments.

I have a feeling it could be a landslide win....even if the Dems vote the graves. I am not paying any attention to any polls. We know how manipulated the media is, they will conduct 50-100 polls just to get one they will publish.
A lot of the political ads here in Missouri are all about tying the dem candidate with Obama, HRC, and the other Dem stooges. They wouldn't be running them if weren't working.

As I said in an earlier post, all this corruption is an eruption of shit. I didn't think I was being literal, but:
"This bus promoting Hillary Clinton must’ve been full of crap.
The vehicle was seen dumping human waste into a storm drain during a stop in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on Tuesday.
The bus, owned by the Democratic National Committee, spewed enough waste that hazmat crews and police responded to the scene, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Police arrived to a rancid smell and toilet paper flung everywhere, reported news station WGCL-TV. Witnesses said there was liquid excrement flowing from the bottom of the bus as it was parked in front of O’Reilly Auto Parts store."
