It's simple; Trump is down over 10 points (NBC/WSJ). All the instant polls are calling Hillary the winner last night.
Even Nate Silver just tweeted "This is the Republican party right now" with a picture of a dumpster fire.
- The Senate will probably flip to the Dems.
- RNC is yanking all their funding for Trump right now, going down ticket.
- Texas (fucking Texas!) is now a question mark and might go blue.
At this point, the House is actually in play. Ryan is doing what he can to salvage every GOP body he possibly can by distancing himself from Trump, because Trump is literally dragging the entire ticket down like the fucking Titanic.
I believe his quote was something along the lines of "I'm trying to make sure Hillary does not have a blank check when she gets here."
This is what GOP primary voters who fell for Trump did. They will blame *everybody* but themselves, and that might have had some weight if this was close, but it isn't... 10 points is a fucking landslide.
Life Lesson? Don't pick a fucking huckster/charlatan/imbecile for your nominee. Everyone warned you, over and over and over again, but you all went and did it.
WTF get off the DOPE.

TigerDoreZen,Zen, Zen... you are going about this all wrong, buddy. You are getting paid to remain calm here and sow as much doubt and doom as you possibly can. You aren't supposed to lose your cool and get booted. That defeats your purpose for being here. Remember, we are all just poorly educated, low-browed neanderthals. Messing with our heads is mere child's play for a man of your intellect.
Gosh, I hope this doesn't cause moveon.org to fire you. Oh wait, did they lay you off? Is that why you went ballistic? Here you are doing your wonderful troll job on Sig Forum and they just cut you off. I guess their funding is drying up or they are moving on to greener pastures.
Sorry, bud. That's the breaks.

RHINOWSO https://drhurd.com/2016/10/09/...te-for-donald-trump/Pretty good breakdown of the tape 'bombshell' vs hipocrisy.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
The Ugly Stench of Hypocrisy - Dr. Hurd
The most insightful thing I’ve yet read about the Donald Trump sex talk scandal is this:
How ironic, then, that a culture which rejects moral standards has suddenly become so pure and pristine, sitting in judgment of someone they deem too immoral to become president because of something he said in private. As a logical person, I have to ask these paragons of newly found virtue where this standard by which they’ve judged Trump is found.
If morality is relative to each individual—a purely subjective experience—by what standard are they judging Trump? Obviously, in such a secular climate, there can’t even be a “standard.”
Why should anyone listen to people who out of one side of their mouths declare the death of objective moral standards yet out of the other condemn someone for violating objective moral standards?
Morality is not subjective. Human beings possess the capacity for rationality and objectivity. We’re able to distinguish what’s good and what’s bad.
Trump’s trashy comments do not uphold sex and romance as a beautiful and fulfilling, uplifting activity. But neither do Bill Clinton’s actions over the years, particularly with respect to his many, many dalliances with women.
Bill Clinton is not running for president. His wife is. But his wife built her whole career off the springboard of his presidency. Without his presidency, she would not have become a U.S. Senator and later Secretary of State — a bad one, at that.
If Bill Clinton had gone down in flames during his impeachment trial and been removed from office, Hillary would not be running for president now. The whole argument back then was that his lying and perjury were “just about sex.” Well, isn’t this tape with Donald Trump “just about sex” too? If it’s OK for a president to have oral sex in the Oval Office while doing official business, then why is it irredeemable and unforgivable for a presidential candidate to make lewd comments in private when he thought nobody was listening?
But the questions are pointless. Hillary Clinton has come this far. She has proved that if you have the right political connections, you’re not even accountable to the Department of Justice and the FBI when it’s proven beyond a doubt that you violated the law. You’re a lawbreaker, but you won’t be charged if the president and those who serve him want you to win. Now there’s a scandal for you.
So far, Hillary Clinton has gotten away with everything she and her husband did. But she is still brazen enough to sit in judgment for something that isn’t even a crime.
Hypocrisy is a painful thing to watch. It’s beyond laughable to watch the biased media culture and all the Hillary-supporting politicians go Puritanical when it comes to sex. The morally righteous never had this problem with Bill Clinton, and they don’t have a problem with Hillary’s mind-numbing evasiveness when it comes to partnering with one of the highest profile sexual predators of all time.
Hypocrisy is a symptom. People are hypocrites only when they’re evading something big. What the Clintonistas try to hide is they care about only one thing: Power. They don’t care about respect for women, because to respect women you first have to respect individuality. Their entire lives have been based on the acquisition of political power and the millions of dollars they receive when that power is peddled and sold on the government market. They care nothing for the preservation of individual rights. They care only about rewarding their donors and advancing their socialist causes.
As for career politicians like John McCain and Paul Ryan, why should anyone care what they think? They are nothing more than managers for the collapsing imperial state. Their squandering of America’s Constitution and fiscal future for the sake of their own power trips makes Trump’s sleazy comments seem like nothing in comparison. In fact, they are the very reason Donald Trump is the nominee! Their party died on their watch, and they don’t want to face it. Instead, they want business as usual. Trump makes them uncomfortable because he reminds them they aren’t what they say they are. Their hypocrisy reveals their own sickening evasions.
If you want to make the case for NOT voting for Donald Trump, you have to get real. This tape is the least plausible reason you can find. And if you’re not voting for Donald Trump, be prepared to defend why you did your part to let an actual criminal and lawbreaker – Hillary Clinton – become presidentOctober 10, 2016, 05:46 PM

Hound DogIt's funny. BOTH the dems AND gop are in a panic over Trump's electoral chances. Both see a Trump presidency as harmful to their party's power. Come next month when Trump wins, we can joyfully watch both political machines have major melt-downs. Then it will remain to be seen which of the republicans stick around and support a Trump presidency, which ones will passively-aggressively hinder it, and which ones actively sabatoge it.
I can't wait.

I didn't watch last night, but was curious if the 2A question some of us clicked in support of was actually asked, and how the two candidates responded to it?
it came up in context of SCOTUS appointments.
Trump said it was huge, and he'd look for folks like Scalia to appoint. Hilary listed a bunch of litmus tests for her judges to agree to overthrow, and then said she supports 2A, but we have to close gun show loopholes etc.
Another lie;She despises the 2nd amendment.

I don't know what you did there, but nothing I wrote is in the quoted sections.
Someone else wrote all that stuff.
Try to be more careful.
Sorry if I offended you jallen here is your post I was replying to:

I only copied the portions of your post I wanted to address instead of having readers wade through what looked like several posts that were replied to.

Bastards at the tsa took my Benchmade Damasteel tactical pen. I was counting on that as part of my edc in Paris. I was able to mail it home though, thank God. But it's just so annoying. First time in over ten flights they didn't let me fly with it, and France is the main reason I bought it!

Mainframe CoderThe crowd tonight in Wilkes-Barre is yuuuge...at least 12K inside the arena and another 4K outside who couldn't get in (they have it on a screen outside for them to watch in the parking lot.) Trump sees these numbers everywhere he goes and the crowd sounds like they're at the Superbowl.
By contrast, at the last 2 quasi-rallies Hillary had (she doesn't really have rallies like the ones Trump holds), she drew about 250 people to each. She spoke about 22 minutes each time and the crowd just sat there (as though maybe they had been paid $50 each to sit in a seat for 30 minutes.)
There's a bunch of "poll" manipulation going on today to try to help Hitlery deliver the knockout punch she couldn't deliver last night at the debate. NBC and the WSJ radically changed their polling methodology today to assure a high percentage of those sampled would be Hitlery supporters. Their results are garbage and definitely not statistically significant.
Forget the polls. Look past the media forest and instead see all the trees. The trees are screaming who is winning.
October 10, 2016, 06:10 PM
Spokane228I can't imagine how the MSM will spin this when Trump wins.
For that alone, this election will be historic.
(and yes, the election is a dumpster fire. The RNC has been letting smolder for decades. Trump was the oxygen it needed).
