Yes, President Reagan in the 1980s created a new economic model, which was really the classical model, I agree. But it had been somewhat short-circuited by Bush Sr's 1990 massive tax hike and Clinton's 1993 massive tax hike- which cost Bubba the House and the Senate, thankfully. The tax cuts of 1995 helped spur the growth again.

Also the 90s' was the start of the huge technology boom. The economy largely did well because of private enterprises' development of computers & all other advances in electronic technology at the time.
The prosperity of the '90's were the result of the groundwork, tax changes, etc of the '80's. The only thing that was overlooked was the absurd changes in housing finance. The God Damned Commies took that and ran with it, with the inevitable catastrophic result.

On "Special Report" tonight, Krauthammer said that Trump should go with the second option, which would involve turning the debate into a fight and attacking morality of the Clintons.
