jimmy123xDonald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
you know the old saying "bad publicity is better than no publicity at all". Right now for good or bad, Trumps name is ALL over the media. Most people are stupid, they just hear the name and hear the name.
I think as long as he can make a solid apology right off the bat (quick and short), he can spin this to his advantage. Once he does that, instantly change the conversation to Hillary......her foundation.....benghazi.....her tax returns.....anything.....and keep the train rolling over her.....Compared to last debate (which he did well but), he needs to steer the debate or be the one on the offensive and not allow her to.

darthfusterI think it is lunacy to reject Trump for this and whatever else we've seen to date and accept Hillary enough to advantage her election. Though it runs counter to Arc's 'You're Dumb' thread, it is sheer lunacy. Even if pride is what drives that lunacy it is still a lunatic position.

k5blazerI am sure more and more stuff will come out as the election draws to an end. Will all the governors, senators and representatives repeat their withdrawal of support and their not voting for Trump. That will get old. It makes for headlines but I doubt it influences any votes. It's best use is to distract from Hillary's weaknesses. It also helps failing governors like Susana Martinez get some airtime.
Look at how agressive Hillary's has become since 9/11 and her illness. They let their guard down and now need the distractions. It's politics and it's going to happen. Trump should be able to sail through these storms. I have faith he will.

sigmonkeySo, without spending a dime, Donald Trump owns the 20 minute news cycle for nearly 48 hours straight?
Like NASCAR (used to be) often the "real race" is the last lap or two.
We have seen leaders run out of gas and get passed by the guy who started dead last and missed every wreck, pitted during cautions and drives away at the end.
The three or four hot shots leading the pack, neck and neck, duking it out for hundreds of laps only to screw up getting greedy at the end and piling up out of the last turn, and some slub who couldn't run his car hard enough to break it, squeaks through the carnage and gets the girl with the big tits.
Tortoise/Hare. I bet the tortoise.

Come on guys- This is the best they can do? This is the "Dirt" they have on Trump? How about something actually illegal or treasonous?
....you're right!!! Let's get FBI Director Comey to investigate this scintillating outrage!
All in all, this is like the DNC alarming all the swimmers to 'get out of the pool' after they've peed in it themselves to make sure no one wants to remain in the pool.

braillediverIf Trump brought a Stogie to the Debates tonight and used it as a prop like vintage George Burns. Anytime hillary brought up the recording he could stop her in her tracks.
That would be golden and devastating.

Does anyone actually believe that some measure of this topic does not take place among women as well?
That made me chuckle.
While we were watching the opening skit of SNL last night, my wife was wondering what was said. She looked up an unedited full version.
After watching the video she said:
"That's it?? I've heard a lot worse in the nurse's station at {un-named peds ED} coming out of womens mouths. I've walked away from worse conversations than this to make sure all the patients room doors were closed so the parents wouldn't hear it!"
You couldn't get her to vote for Hilliar at gunpoint.

Balzé HalzéIt just occurred to me that tonight's debate may actually have more viewers than the first one. If Trump plays this right, it may actually work to his advantage.

rekstromOK, so Trump is no cunning linguist. But maybe there are still a couple reasons to vote for him, such as:
1. The Supreme Court.
2. Saving democracy from a corrupt leftist media and DNC, and corrupt HRC.
3. Saving the Republic from foreign invaders.
4. Saving the economy.
5. The Supreme Court.
I dunno, its a close one, hmm, lemme think....

MRBTXThis is mud slinging, nothing more. The RINOs that publicly denounced Trump probably were never really on his side to begin with, and were hoping for a reason to jump ship. I'm ready for Nov 8th to get here, enough jaw jacking.

So if you are weak in the knees right now, buckle up.
The title of this thread : "Donald Trump is a first-rate ass clown .."
We all knew he was not the well behaved traditional model for a good president.
But his words of his intentions are far far more aligned with most of us here than Clinton's.
I am riding the Trump train wherever it winds up. But it will be a bumpy ride for sure.

dgwiggansI think it's all about getting in front of whatever "hot mic" moments that they probably have. If he were to come out tonight & say "privately, I've said things that I shouldn't have...... please forgive my callousness in the past". That's it. People will either forgive or not. At least he'd own up to the braggadocios talk & wouldn't have to do so later as more surfaces. He could even pivot from there & say why won't bill&hill ask for forgiveness to their actions in the past. Why the lies & coverup? Humbleness works. Actually, I think he gains in popularity during those few moments that he does act humble while campaigning. Own up to it, ask for forgiveness & let your surrogates tear ass into the lives of b&h. Take the offense to them by admitting the truth, something they can't/won't do.

I've been seeing this all day as well. The Howard Stern stuff is already out this afternoon but there's not much there. Several Dem sources saying they have more to release that is "worse" than the sex talk tape. We'll see.
I'm hoping Trump's prep people are able to build a response for Trump to deliver tonight that not only covers the stuff already released, but also acknowledges that more "locker room talk" may be out there. Portray it all as desperation by the Hillary Campaign because they can't win a debate on the issues that truly matter to our country.
