BMRDonald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
Anybody see the opening of SNL last night? I find it highly hypocritical that Alec Baldwin takes part in the trashing of Trump and his remarks about women, given his history. But I'm not surprised.

OK, there might be some truth to a single vote - or non-vote - out of ~150 million not statistically influencing the outcome of the election. What I can't stand is the attitude.
This is the thing that is important about a "leaked" video that is 10 years old.
It brings the anti-Trump trolls out in force. Which is a force multiplier to those who will vote for Hillary. They can be counted on to lack the self control to stay out of threads like this one. It's like anything else, they feel like they are entitled to tell everyone else how smart they are, and spin crap like the last few pages of this one. I swear "not voting for Trump isn't a vote for Hillary" is more the definition of "is" crap. They seem to be doing one thing, and then feigning another a la Paul Ryan.
Just like those who are ok with banning guns, and they say stuff like "I hunt and support the Second Amendment", it seems in vogue for all the double talk as long as they proclaim "I could never vote for Hillary".
They will assist in the downfall of the Republic. They are willing accomplices. No matter how much they attempt to convince themselves, and us, that they are following their "conscious" or whatever, they are leading freedom down the hall to the gas chamber. In hopes that they will go last.
When we lose our Second Amendment Rights under Hillary, when we lose the Supreme Court under Hillary, when our economy crashes under Hillary, make sure you remember the names of those here to were accomplices, and you thank them for their part in electing Hillary.

Or would it? Only ~537 votes in Florida in 2000 made the difference between W and Algore in the White House.

What a good point. We live in a culture saturated with "pussy" in every sense, but suddenly everyone has the vapors and needs a fainting couch because Trump said, "Grab her by the pussy."

Good thing there haven't been any Presidents with trashy mouths (Nixon, LBJ, ...) or who liked to fool around despite their marriages (FDR -
five mistresses, including a distant cousin, Kennedy -
a loooong list a long list, Clinton, )....
/sarc off
This is not a positive, and the timing seems too perfect to be random. But it does open up Clinton. If she thinks people like that are so bad, how come she stays married to one?

Mainframe CoderAll across the media this morning, I see the same things. "Trump Against the World Tonight." "Trump Needs a Miracle." "Trump Campaign in Death Spiral." "There's No Hope for Trump in Second Debate."
I see exactly the opposite. The libs have set this entire event up tonight to be a showcase for Hitlery and a public execution of Donald Trump. A huge national audience is going to tune in to see what happens. A huge national audience, and media coverage across the dial for 90 minutes, that isn't costing Trump a dime.
If he and his prep people have properly prepared for tonight, this could be a gold mine for Trump. Take full responsibility for his comments when the inevitable question comes (tonight is a town hall format), stay mature, absolutely don't turn juvenile and whine that what Bill did was worse, and then turn the reply back to how his administration would differ from Clinton's and what it means to the American people.
Trump's supporters are looking for a strong leader, not a spoiled billionaire juvenile. If Trump owns up tonight, and then gets the tone of the event back to how his view of what needs to be done differs from Hitlery, and her documented missteps as SoS, and the seedy Clinton Foundation, this whole "sex tape" October Suprise attack could turn out to be the best thing that has happened. He has a nationwide audience across the entire media dial for 90 minutes who are tuning in to see how he handles this crisis. If he can stay mature and look/sound presidential in the face of adversity, this ball game will be over.

XinTXOkay, so POSHitlary loses 4 lives and $6 BILLION while acting as an agent of the government just a couple years back. But the issue on the news are some off-color comments made back stage at an event over a decade ago?
Jeez, the "news" (sic) media today would be an insult to The Weekly World News.

I agree. The debate certainly has the potential to be pivotal. It is also important to keep in mind that the debates are really about reaching a small audience, the undecideds. I doubt anything is going to be said tonight that would change any of our minds.

BytesI've gotta agree with MainFrame on this one. A strong performance in the debate will make all of this a non issue.

Don't misconstrue my statements. I haven't said one trolling word about Trump with the release of this statement or since the convention; no point in spending that much effort in this thread. Stop trying to guilt others into voting for a turd against the other turd.
Second Amendment? Didn't Donald Trump restate his agreement with Hillary Clinton on using the No Fly List to ban the purchase of firearms, enforcing a guilty until proven innocent mentality? That sounds like a very specific threat of infringement of the Second Amendment protections.
In short, go fuck yourself. You're not doing your side of the argument any favors by threatening and insulting those on the other side.

Gene HillmanIt looks to me like a very sincere apology for the video at the beginning of tonight's event would be the best strategy to diffuse any questions about it. I hope some advisor has thought of this. If Trump was a drinker, he could try the "I was loaded and didn't know what I was saying" but he doesn't drink.

braillediverIMHO It seems the dems \ clinton campaign have an unreasonable fear of Trump. If he was so deplorable and unelectable they'd be running with their positives not his fumbles.
It takes guts on their part to be talking about Trumps treatment of women when bill clinton is a serial womanizer, potential rapist and hillary's been his enabler for decades.
With Hope the unwashed masses are sick of this charade and tired of the status quo.
