sdyDonald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...st-stand-commission/Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump will stand behind lecterns for the first debate on Monday at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, the Commission on Presidential Debates confirms.
The commission told Breitbart News on Thursday that the first debate will require both candidates to stand. The second, to be held Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, will be in a town hall format, meaning that candidates may stand when it is their turn to speak, and sit when they are done.
According to the commission, it is not yet clear whether the candidates will be standing or sitting for the third debate, which will take place Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. In past year, candidates have been seated for the third debate.
Subject to possible changes because of news developments, the topics for the September 26 debate are as follows, not necessarily to be brought up in this order:
America’s Direction
Achieving Prosperity
Securing America
Each topic will take up two 15-minute segments. The debate will be moderated by Lester Hold of NBC News and will start at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Monday, Sep. 26.

stickman428Good. Cruz understands what is at stake in this election. Early on Cruz was my #1 candidate but he ran a lack luster campaign and made plenty of mistakes. He lost, now it's time to support Trump and try to convince his supporters to also get on board. We need all the help we can get to beat Hillary! It'll be interesting to see if he does endorse Trump. If he doesn't and Trump loses it think it could seriously fuck up his political future.
On a separate note I noticed Hillary is using a Lindsay Grahm sound bite to attack Trump.

there is not enough profanity to describe how I feel about ole Lindsay.

sdyA Cruz endorsement would be good for both of them.
http://www.politico.com/story/...-budget-fight-228493On Wednesday, Trump urged congressional negotiators to delay a U.S. handoff of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a private-sector, nonprofit organization that manages Internet domain names. And that was enough to prompt Cruz to laud Trump — whom he pointedly declined to back in July when he urged Republicans to "vote your conscience."
Appreciate @realDonaldTrump’s support of our efforts to keep the internet free," Cruz tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
"And we appreciate @tedcruz appreciating @realDonaldTrump. Over to you, @jeffroe," responded Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, referring to Cruz's former campaign manager.

I have to say I'm really surprised at this but it's great news. You watch, Hillary is going to be doing a LOT of leaning on that podium.

46and2^ A bunch, I bet. He blew it, majorly, in a variety of ways. I hope he can regain some respect and remain relevant and continue to contribute positively, but it'll be a climb...

Exactly. At this point, no one cares what Cruz thinks about anything. He had his chance and decided to worry only about himself in 2020 not caring about the damage Hillary could do in the meantime.
To hell with Cruz. And to hell with all those damn Bushes's while I am at it.

Cruz gets plenty of credit in my eyes. Cruz went to the convention and Kasich couldn't even swing by in his own damned state. Cruz went to the convention and he pointed out just how bad Hillary would be. Cruz did more for gun owners in this country than any other politician in this country with Heller. Cruz made it a point to say that he wasn't voting for Hill. We will need Cruz in the senate whether Donald wins or not. Even if Donald wins he is stuck with lame Republicans who would rather work with Democrats then to fight the libtards. Cruz may best serve our needs as an obstructionist should we lose the senate. Cruz is okay in my booK!

BytesCruz was my guy but when he dropped out I went all in with Trump. Cruz certainly pissed me off at the convention and I hope he really does come around and endorse. By the way Cruzers, it's getting real now and there are only two realistic choices for president. All a protest vote will do is elect Hillary and all of her baggage. Actually, your vote wouldn't really be for Hillary but rather Kaine. Hill won't survive her first term.

BigboreshooterCruz pledged. Cruz reneged on his pledge. Pledges obviously mean nothing to Cruz. Cruz=scumbag.
The only good thing about Cruz is the knowledge that he will NEVER be President.

He proved himself just another lying politician who won't keep their word unless it benefits them.

sdyTrump yesterday on Lester Holt:
“Well, I think he has to be a moderator,”
“I mean, you’re debating somebody and if she makes a mistake or I make a mistake, I’ll, you know, we’ll take each other on. But I certainly don’t think you want Candy Crowley again.”
“And she turned out to be wrong. I really don’t think you want that,”
“That was a very pivotal moment in that debate. And it really threw the debate off and it was unfair. So I don’t think you want that. No, I think you have to have somebody that’s just — let them argue it out.”

Trump created this movement from whole cloth. cruz Not only didn't help he made every effort to prevent it from happening.
Other then ridicule I don't know why we'd even mention him.

darthfusterI was a Cruz guy. When he did not keep his pledge, it didn't matter to me anything else he said or promised from then on. How could I ever trust it to be the truth? I like what I hear from him, but now I don't know if he means it. Repeal Obasmcare? Don't know that you'd do it. Enhance gun rights? I'll believe it when I see it. Lower taxes and greater economic prosperity? Prove it. But if you are competing for my vote against someone who hasn't lied to me, you might as well sit down. What a disappointment. Now you want to endorse? I suspect it is only to serve your interest somehow, An endorsement now is nearly useless unless you actively campaign to turn never-trumpers.

I'm not defending him.
I just have not completely turned my back to him like many others here.
