I just tuned in to nbc for that pseudo town hall clinton and Trump are having tonight.

I didn't last 2 minutes. I just couldn't stomach listening to her. Every word out of her mouth is lies and deceit.

I wouldn't do anything with Matt Lauer and NBC. I'm not sure what Trump's thinking other than free airtime. But, that can backfire.

Her final answer was a little shaky but, all in all, I thought she did very well. I think the best we can hope for tonight is a draw.

No he's not. Lauer is hammering him on his Generals remark. Lauer had him in a gotcha.

Thank you President Trump.

Lauer never talked to the beast as he is doing to Trump. Even his facial expressions are hateful.

Disgusting.

No knock downs, no one bloodied, both standing after 15 rounds. If it went to the cards.....she probably won but nothing decisive. A good beginning for Trump and I'm sure he learned a lot about what will happen on Sept. 26.

So many questions of the presidential candidates miss the point of the role of the president.

The chief executive doesn't personally solve every hard problem with their own ideas. They get the right teams in place to come up with approaches and then they choose the best of the alternatives. That is what an executive does.

It is more about process and good judgment than being able to come up w specific solutions to the vast array of issues that a president must deal with.

I think he got a bit more excitment from the crowd.

It was close. Nothing will result from this. We need to see them together.

If she won it was simply because she talked for 30 minutes without coughing herself to death.

What a terrible showing from Trump. His answers on how much he's studying issues was comical.

I thought Lauer was fair, maybe even a little more lenient to Trump, he never once asked Trump to stay on his own credentials instead of attacking Clinton, which she did once or twice and he did several times.

I sure wish he was a better speaker. I'm sure he is a smart man, but it doesn't translate.
