I'm seeing in a lot of state polls where Clinton is nominally ahead, that Johnson is polling the difference between Trump and Clinton or more.
If the assumption is that Libertarian votes would break Republican if their wasn't a libertarian on the ballot, Johnson could conceivable put the Hildabeast in the White House.
Another good reason to get rid of the current primary process, and go to national open primary - run-off system. That way the third parties, if they're non-competitive, wouldn't muck up the general election.

Have you seen this, yet? It's from today (9/5) in Cleveland.
The conservative media has reported for 2+ months now that Hillary cannot speak more than a few seconds without breaking into a violent coughing fit. Her camp has hidden her for months, trying to avoid having to explain what's going on.
Well....that ended today. After months of hiding her, they tried to put her in front of an audience, live on C-SPAN and other networks, in a Labor Day event. You can see for yourself how it went:
If this has become something she cannot control, and they can't figure out a solution by the first debate on September 26, she's done. There's something going on with her health that they can no longer hide.
