No pun intended.
All 3 of the recent polls in Pennsylvania are of likely voters, not just "registered" voters.

http://www.realclearpolitics.c...vs_clinton-5633.htmlIf Trump is going to win, he's going to win in Florida, in Pennsylvania, and in either Ohio or in Virginia.
I'm not saying it can't change or that it can't be done... but there's no question that he's had a bad week to 10 days here.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

If you get your information from liberal sources like "realclearpolitics.com", you'll be an unhappy camper from now until November 8th. The libs use such entities for their own service. Don't be led by the ring they so desperately want to put in your nose. Your prognostication, based on the spin they want you to believe, is that Trump is going to lose in places like Iowa, Wisconsin, Colorado, etc. He's not. He'll also carry Florida (easily), Ohio (easily), North Carolina, etc. He'll likely lose Virginia but just barely.
Trump will win the EC vote at around 303. This is not going to be a close election. It'll somewhat resemble Obama's win in 2012; respectable but not really close.

The rest is media-manufactured propaganda. Ignore it.
Hillary's flying monkeys in the press are outdoing even Baghdad Bob. They are trying to sell a huge lie, that Trump has not merely made a mistake or two, but that he has had a
disastrous two weeks. Worse than anyone can remember for a presidential candidate! His campaign is in the toilet!
The purpose is to discourage us, dishearten us, make us throw up our hands in defeat.
Just look at the throngs that continue to turn out for him. And he raised $80 million last month. Paul Ryan may well lose his primary fight next week. Hillary can barely gather a witches covey around her.

The only reason it's bigger is Trump talked about it making it a reason for the media to spin it.

lbjReuters today :
Clinton 43
Trump 39
LA Times today:
Clinton 45
Trump 44
Even if this most likely voters, given the press assault the last week, the numbers are not bad for Trump.
I will say this to most gun owning Democrats and leftists.
For decades, you have depended on the republicans and other conservatives to defend your gun rights, yet most of you voted for democrats anyway.
Welp, the time has come that you all need to take a stand, start voting for gun rights candidates or
YOU will be the ones responsible in the future when the 2nd Amendment gets gutted.
We cannot carry the day anymore without you voting with us. We may not have the numbers.
Sack up and vote pro second amendment.

Preach it, brother.

I have said it many times on other forums and perhaps a few on this one:
STOP VOTING FOR DEMOCRATS!
I don't care if your particular Democrat is a "good guy". Your vote for him is a vote for the agenda of Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. They are the ones that will determine the legislative agenda and tell your good guy how he will vote on what issues.
Some say they aren't single issue voters. Fine. You are saying it is OK with you to be forced to turn in guns or have your door kicked in. Maybe guns aren't as important to you as some other issue, even if it means the end of the Second Amendment. Fine. You are saying it's OK with you that MY door is going to get kicked in as long as your other cause gets its due.
Get off our side!

lbjI am not trying to mean to the many Democrats who are gun owners.
But we need them voting with us on the 2A.
Alone, we cannot carry the water anymore.
I find it interesting though, that both my daughters in their mid twenties are pro 2A.
They tell me all their friends are as well.
I have met quite a few of them and their is hope for the new upcoming generation.
But it may be too late for them.

justjoeI'm very glad that Trump did not choose Newt Gingrich as VP. Gingrich "very strongly" endorsed John McCain.
Newt is a Washington player, in the worst sense.

Point taken. The Democrats have embraced gun control almost party-wide and are turning into a major issue in spite of the lack of facts, etc. They offer it up as simplistic fix of an factually irrelevant issue in the hopes that they can spin it as a major accomplishment while the issues that affect most Americans and that they care about are ignored: Job creation, tax burden, health-care.
The Democrats used to blame Republicans for making issues out of God, Gays and Guns, but they are the ones who made the issue out of guns in the first place and have gone to the extent of portraying gun owners as being complicit in mass-killings or the moral equivalent of clubby physically challenged, orphan baby seals.
As gunowners, we cannot in good conscience vote for Democrats. They need to be brought out to the woodshed in November so they can learn their lesson.

newtoSig765Yesterday I received a "Congressional District Census" from the RNC, two pages of questions about my Republican leanings.
Today I scrawled across the top of the first page, "The Republican Party does not support Trump, so I no longer support the Republican Party."
It gets mailed tomorrow, along with a donation directly to Trump, thanks to Sigmonkey who found an address for him.

sdyHillary Plots to Import Puerto Ricans to Win Florida
http://www.breitbart.com/2016-...-ricans-win-florida/Democrat Hillary Clinton is plotting to invite in as many Puerto Rico nationals as possible to vote in central Florida in November’s election.
Puerto Ricans can only vote in the general election if they move to the United States before November and register to vote.
Activist groups are making this a top priority.
Boricua Vota is one of those groups. Mi Familia Vota is another group working principally on voter registration. Mi Familia Vota set the number 20,000 as its goal for new voter registration in 2016.
This massive migration — called “the biggest movement of people out of Puerto Rico since the great migration of the 1950s” by the Pew Research Center’s Hispanic researcher — could forever change the demographics and economy of the state of Florida. But Hillary Clinton loves it.
The Clinton campaign makes overtures to migration in its fact sheet “Growing Together: Hillary Clinton’s Vision for Puerto Ricans,” which promises a bailout, universal healthcare, and all kinds of other benefits for Puerto Ricans, including consideration of statehood.
“Puerto Rican voters have completely upended the understanding of how the state is going to vote in November,” pollster Fernand Amandi said.
“They could wake up in San Juan, have breakfast and be registered to vote in the U.S. come dinnertime.”August 04, 2016, 05:42 PM

Thank you thank you thank you.
Not everything the Democrats have done has been bad.
Republicans for the most part have changed their views on gays and the need for healthcare. We would do it differently with our twist, but nonetheless, I think many of us have changed for the better.

clayflingythingyIf you go over to realclearpolitics and play with the create your own electoral map it becomes really hard to see how Trump can win.
I gave him FL, GA, NC, OH, MO, IA, and AZ.
I gave HRC OR, NV, CO, MI, WI, PA, and VA.
She wins in the above.
If Trump can flip VA in my above scenario he wins.
It's still early, and things won't gel until Oct.
I live in a state that Trump will (should) carry (KY). If Trump loses here, he has lost the national election in an landslide.

That's only partially correct - yes, Trump kept it alive longer than it needed to be, but the media covered the 2 speeches completely differently. Many of the networks covering Pat Smith's speech cut away or only partially covered it, and it was given in prime time. No commentary on what it meant or how it could affect Hillary took place.
The Khan speech was fully covered by all of the media and given immediate analysis and headlines on both TV and print media.
