Trump's environmental policy:
"I want clean air and clean water."
That sounds simplistic, but really it's perfect. And brilliant.
No global warming BS, nothing about CO2 emissions, no renewable energy nonsense...just "I want clean air and clean water."
That's what everyone wants, whether you buy into the Climate Change scam or not, we all what that for our planet. Well, the commies don't really want that; they want control and redistribution, but they can't come right out and say that, can they? So all they can really do is agree with Trump, at least publicly.

On another note, did anyone else catch that round table discussion Megyn Kelly had on Trump tonight? She chose the most pathetic bunch of anti-Trump people you could imagine. Damn, she even had the guy in charge of Mitt Romney's campaign. Megyn went back to her old Trump hating ways which, I have to admit, kind of surprised me after their peace offering meeting they had a while back. Lipstick on a pig I guess.
I secretly pray there is a price for Megan Kelly to pay when Trump is elected.
my bet is he would make her his press secretary

Exactly. Plus, it makes Hillary look like an unimportant nobody.
Wouldn't it be hilarious, with all of the sneaky crap Hillary has pulled over the years; if her biggest downfall was being too lazy to debate Sanders when she figured she had already won.

Yup, totally. Trump debating Sanders would be a pay-per-view-like event. Everyone would watch. Hillary would be nowhere to be found. It really could be her downfall.

Odds are Trump and Crazy Bernie will mostly play nice with each other since they're both targeting Hillary, who will be powerless to defend herself. Why blast each other when they can take turns blasting her?
It's for charity so immediately nobody will take it seriously. Crazy Bernie diminishes his brand just by showing up.
Which charity? Trump gets to decide. Crazy Bernie is in no position to negotiate. He has to support Trump's agenda on this to even play the game. And if he does, he's playing Trump's game.
Will the network go along with giving away the profits? Doubtful. It gives Trump an escape hatch. "I tried to do the debate but the greedy network wouldn't cooperate." It plays into Trump's anti-media narrative... which isn't even true anymore since the networks mostly fellate Trump any time he deigns to call into their show (rather than show up in person).
Trump is a political genius in a category all his own.

Therefore, as much as I want to debate Bernie Sanders – and it would be an easy payday – I will wait to debate the first place finisher in the Democratic Party, probably Crooked Hillary Clinton, or whoever it may be.”
2016, the year a man was elected President of these United States because he isn't an Insider, and says what everyone else has thought all along but was too spineless to say.
Which is as much a testament to how pathetic most in DC are, as much as anything else.
Thank goodness this one actually loves America, and is a proven and successful capitalist.

Would like to have been a fly on the wall of the Trump strategy session that made this decision. It seems like a wonderful opportunity being wasted.
Perhaps. On the other hand, what does he really have to gain by debating Sanders? Everyone probably really wants to see Trump go up against Hillary one-on-one with no distractions.
If he debated Sanders, he'd undoubtedly end up using some material which would better be saved for use against Hillary.
And since the election is just over five months away, we won't have to wait too much longer for Hillary to either clinch the Democrat nomination, be indicted, or both.

It could still happen. His declining it might be part of an unseen negotiation.
I agree that it would be a good thing. Marginalizes Clinton, and exposes her fear of actually appearing in public. The more people see her, the more they dislike her. Trump could have a field day with zingers.

That was my take too. Trump supporters would be happy and said they won. Bernie supporters would be happy and said they one. The issues are polar opposite so each side would ignore/dismiss the other. Ultimately it makes Hillary look bad and that would be GOOD!

Rolling Thunder is an annual motorcycle rally that is held in Washington, DC during the Memorial Day weekend to call for the government's recognition and protection of Prisoners of War (POWs) and those Missing in Action (MIAs).
The tribute to American war heroes started out in 1988 with 2,500 participants. Now approximately 900,000 participants and spectators are involved with this annual demonstration in Washington, DC.
So, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to be in Washington, D.C., on Sunday to attend the Memorial Day event with Rolling Thunder.
Trump: “I am doing it in honor of the great bikers who have been totally supportive of my campaign, and now I want to be supportive of them,”
“I’m not a huge biker. I have to be honest with you, okay? I always liked the limo better.”
I agree that it would be a good thing. Marginalizes Clinton

Yep, that's my thinking: Trump and Sanders both win by agreeing to a debate but not going through with it for whatever reasons. Clinton gets a net loss from whatever does or doesn't happen because she didn't show. Trump and Sanders get to play off the debate not happening for whatever reasons and Clinton still scores a loss.
Perhaps it's just ignorance, but this looks like some upper-level political gamesmanship to me. Hillary is looking more and more like a clown with each passing day of Trump and Sanders in the news. They both know they've tapped into some core issues that actually have the voting public animated, whereas Hillary has only managed to rally voters with vaginas because vagina.
