Donald Trump is a first-rate ass clown, but...
If Trump meets with Ryan it's the Donald that needs to play the cards. He doesn't need advice from Ryan or Romney on how to blow this election.

Trump is going to re-align everyone into 2 groups. Those who support status quo big .gov, & those who oppose it. It no longer matters if your a Dem or a Rep, only if your ready to change the way our .gov works, or you want our .gov to continue it's corruption, back room deals, & special interest favors.

I love to see him taking on Ryan, Bush, et al. If Trump gets a wall up & runs those assholes out of politics, it will be a major coup.

Absolutely, and Ryan should resign as Speaker as well...he's already a miserable failure.

Agree completely!! The party needs to come together, or fail apart. Then God help us.

Any of our Wisconsin members have an informed opinion on whether or not Paul Nehlen has any real chance in challenging Ryan's congressional seat?

McCain endorses President Trump.

http://www.al.com/news/index.s...ml#incart_river_home Sen. John McCain criticized Republican leaders that are not embracing presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, CNN reported today.

In an interview in Phoenix, McCain said that party leaders should recognize that millions of voters have chosen Trump.

"You have to draw the conclusion that there is some distance, if not a disconnect, between party leaders and members of Congress and the many voters who have selected Donald Trump to be the nominee of the party," the Arizona senator said to CNN.

He said that GOP leaders are "out of step" with voters if they do not back Trump.

The 79-year-old veteran also said in the interview that he wants the billionaire to retract his statements about prisoners of war.

"I think it's important for Donald Trump to express his appreciation for veterans... I'd like to see him retract that statement. Not about me, but the others."

McCain was captured and taken as a prisoner during the Vietnam War by the North Vietnamese. He spent more than five years as a prisoner of war, where ABC News reported that he was tortured and given inadequate medical treatment that still affects him today.

Trump said about POWs, "I like people that weren't captured," CNN reported.

McCain also said that he disagrees with Trump's insulting tactics while campaigning: "Frankly, I have never seen the personalization of a campaign like this one, where people's integrity and character are questioned...It bothers me a lot. Because you can almost violently disagree with an issue, but to attack their character and their integrity -- then those wounds take a long time to heal."

He said that he plans to support Trump as the presumptive GOP nominee.

I'm ok with it. Hell, I'm more than ok with it, I'm pleased with the results. The sub-par candidates have cratered under his withering assault. Politicraps can lie about issues. They can't lie about their character. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry watches these smarmy fucks lie on TV, day-in, day-out and we all say the same thing: "That lying prick...." We'd all love to tell these fuckers exactly what we think of their pandering horseshit. That's why we're sending The Donald to speak for us.

Forgive my vulgarity, but I'm hopping pissed-off about so much of our political situation and McLame just named the beast. I'm done with their high 'n mighty and ready to see this thing get down and dirty. Mad

It seems to me that when I first voted, we were classified as Republicans or Democrats. Now it seems there are more classifications that here are Heinz soups. The black vote, the Hispanic vote, the women's vote, the soccer moms, LGBTs, etc., etc. ad nauseum.

This is just the beginning of blowing things out of proportion.
There is a huge difference between Federal mandates and states determining their own needs.
Federal law - bad.
State law - good.
mmmkay?

Context. When you start in the proper context, the things said will make better, although less sensational sense.

Hopefully this will end the speculation over Christie being his choice for VP. Can't do both jobs this fall.

quote:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Monday he has chosen New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a rival turned ally, to lead his White House transition team as he prepares for the general election campaign.

“Governor Christie is an extremely knowledgeable and loyal person with the tools and resources to put together an unparalleled Transition Team, one that will be prepared to take over the White House when we win in November,” Trump said in a statement.

Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee in the Nov. 8 presidential election, said Christie will oversee an “extensive team.”

Christie endorsed Trump after dropping out of the 2016 Republican primary race in February and has been campaigning with the New York billionaire.

Trump’s campaign said the candidate was moving into a general election mode and “implementing an infrastructure capable of securing a victory including making key hires, building a finance operation to benefit the Republican Party and unifying the party by working with several Republican leaders now voicing their support for Mr. Trump and his candidacy.”

SIGH Mad

Pat Toomey Says He Might Not Be Able To Back Trump

This is my Senator from PA

These Establishment GOP types are SO in a panic about Trump, I don't think many of them are thinking clearly anymore.

If anything, this is going to cause him to lose his bid for re-election this November.

I wish Toomey had just kept his mouth shut. He is in enough trouble this November without alienating a huge block of voters who have lined up behind Trump and don't want to hear anything else. It was a stupid move.
