It's marvelous to watch. Donald Trump has dropped a monkey wrench into the establishment machinery, and I hear gears grinding and shit breaking- little pins and springs shooting out of the sides of the machine.

Actually it's starting to make more sense. It's a chance to reduce or eliminate the national debt. Charge $5 to walk by her cell and taunt her or $10 and you get to chuck a tomato.

I'll pay $100 if I can can slap her with a large fish.

Well, Glenn is dead to me. Not such a big deal. I stopped being enthusiastic about him years ago. Levin.....well, I like him. I understand some do not, but I do. It will be hard to cut him off if I have to. Beck has cut off his nose to spite his face. We'll see what Levin does.

ETA: What frustrates me more than anything in this process is that every one of those who raised their hands to promise they will support the eventual nominee, have done what politicians do. They reneged. They broke their promise. Trump did not immediately promise until he negotiated an agreement.....which the GOPe promptly broke. Lastly, the man I supported and advocated for, broke his promise too. When he announced he was suspending his campaign, he did not turn his support to Donald. I suppose he can still do it after the convention. I will wait and see before my opinion of Cruz is dashed, but I thought he would have done so if for no other reason than to be a leader and keep his word.

My aunt forwarded me a message she got from a friend of hers:

"With the latest developments in Indiana, the choices are now slim. These comments make one think about how the situation got to where it is and gives a perspective one cannot ignore. I do not necessarily agree with all the comments but it makes me think about what is said and to consider what the future may hold in our election choices this November. I know we need a drastic change in the direction this country seems to be taking and this is an opportunity to begin the process. A Trump choice is a not rosy for me to make because of some of his tactics but because he is a tough competitor and not caught up in the political establishment in Washington DC, he is a distinctly better choice than Hillary or any other Democrat candidate that Party may put up in this election year.

Earlier in these campaign months I heard a comment made by a prominent Christian leader that we are not electing a " Sunday School Principle", we are electing a leader to bring us back on a course our nation's founders had in mind when the Constitution was defined, someone with the "metal" to stand firmly up to the " Establishment" that lead us into the morass we seem to be in this present age here in the USA. It the business world when an organization reaches that kind of condition it is common to bring in an executive to lead that often is considered a " Hatchet Man" to change the course. Maybe that " We the People" see that and that is why Donald Trump has such strength of popularity among them.

For me I am trying to understand all of this and find my way to the voting booth feeling that I am making the best decision for our nation's future. This commentary is a help for me. I hope that you will take the time to read and consider the content in your own context and that it will aid you in making your choice.

Just be certain you make it to the polls to vote when the time comes. This is a time when that is pivotal in our countries future.

Doug"

**********************
This is WHY Trump has such a following.

Many have asked me if I support the Republican party?

Here is a letter someone sent to the RNC. You be the judge.

Dear Representative...

From the time I was able to vote I voted Republican. I am 80 years old now and have a great deal of respect and influence with hundreds of senior ball players who also network with thousands of others around the country.

I received your questionnaire and request for money and strongly agree with every question, as I have since Obama was elected. Unfortunately the one question that was missing is: What have the Republicans done for the American people? We gave you a majority in the house and senate, and you never listened to us. Now you want our money.

You should be more concerned about our votes not our money. You are the establishment which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets. Well guess what? It's not going to happen. You may shake in your boots when I tell you that our movement is for TRUMP, and he hasn't asked for a dime.

You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self-destruct course, but look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has achieved what he has, especially in the state of New York.

If you really want to know how the majority of people feel (and this applies to both Democrats and Republicans), then read below... it says it all.

Here's the situation:

You've been on vacation for two weeks. You come home and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have taken-over your basement. You want them gone immediately... You call the city and 4 different exterminators but nobody could handle the job. But there is this one guy and he guarantees you to get rid of them, so you hire him. You don't care if the guy smells; you don't care if the guy swears; you don't care if he's an alcoholic; you don't care how many times he's been married; you don't care if he voted for Obama; you don't care if he has plumber's crack... You simply want those raccoons gone! You want your problem fixed! He's the guy. He's the best. Period!

Here's why we want Trump. Yes, he's a bit of an ass; yes, he's an egomaniac; but we don't care. The country is a mess because politicians suck. The Republican Party is two-faced and gutless, and illegals are everywhere. We want it all fixed! We don't care that Trump is crude; we don't care that he insults people; we don't care that he had been friendly with Hillary; we don't care that he has changed positions; we don't care that he's been married 3 times; we don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O'Donnel; we don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslin terrorist.

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by Muslims and illegal's, we are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo, Hassid, Willie and Gay is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in, "AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED." And Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want.

We're sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and sick of Muslims and the illegals. We just want this thing fixed. Trump may not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money controlling him; he doesn't have political correctness restraining him; all you know is that he has been very successful; a good negotiator; he has built a lot of things; and, he's also not a politician... he's not a cowardly politician. And, he says he'll fix it. And, we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.

Also, we don't care if the guy has bad hair. We just want those raccoons gone. Out of our house. NOW!!!

And then there was one.....(Kasich doesn't count).

I'll vote for Trump because there is at least a non-zero chance he will be better than Hillary, but it's really a lesser of two idiots. One is corrupt and superliberal. The other....well we have no idea what he is yet. We have to elect him to find out what he will do (sound familiar?). One seeks to actively undermine the Constitution. The other doesn't really understand it and has no principled attachment to it.

I think no matter what happens, we will look back at this election years from now with regret. We had a chance to get this country back on track in terms of its founding principles of limited government. We went with the cheap thrill, and now we have to hope it turns out ok.

This times a million in my book.

I have been anti party for years as I knew too much to believe in them. I for one am seeing what I only have dreamed of.

America waking up and some real issues like borders and debt being talked about by someone who means it.

He has thumbed his nose at the NWO and they are pissed.

Lets get on with making America great again.

Go Trump.

Yeah, like that Ronald Reagan guy. Razz ...and fuck Charles Krauthammer.

I'd like to know just how rigid the #NeverTrump crowd is on their position.

Are they willing to allow the placement of certainly one and possibly 2-3 SCOTUS positions by a GDC president?

Are they willing to allow more of our freedoms and rights to be chipped away...and on and on.

Trump wasn't my first choice, but one thing of which I'm certain, Trump loves the USA.

I'm certainly willing to give him the chance to prove it.

Eradicating the Progressive movement should be at the forefront of every America-loving citizen. No exceptions.

These people who say this stuff- they need to consider why Donald Trump is now the presumptive Republican nominee. All those votes he's getting- what's that about, huh?

Time to get a clue.
