Just wait. I gotta feeling Cruz & Kasich are fixin to come to an agreement about P/VP.
Then Cruz's conversion to the dark side will be complete.

It was complete years ago. The new Manchurian Candidate establishment style.

You guys were just fine with a Trump/Kasich alliance. When did this attitude change?

Not all of us ever wanted Kasich. He's a slimy weasel. Similar to what Cruz is turning into in his desperation to win at all cost.

The closer we get to the RNC the more it looks like Cruz is just another typical politician.

P220 SmudgeListening to the radio and this forum are my only news sources. The local NPR mouthpieces are scared of Trump and rooting for the Cruz/Kasich strategy to win. That tells me an awful lot, since I tend to use NPR as a reverse barometer.

Tonyny Kirstie Alley endorses Donald Trump for presidentJust to lighten the mood a bit

I admire any hollywierd actor for going against the flow. Also she has good taste in Mayors.
Kirstie Alley, the former star of Cheers and Veronica's Closet, added her voice to the cacophony of celebrities making presidential endorsements Friday night.
She voiced her support for Donald Trump via Twitter: "HELLO BOYS! this is my formal endorsement of @realDonaldTrump & I'm a woman! (last I checked) And Rudy, U R amazing!" (New York mayor-turned-2008 presidential candidate Rudy Guiliani also recently endorsed Trump.)

PASigTrump is due to have a rally today at West Chester University in West Chester, PA but I keep hearing about how these fascist little fuckers of students there are pulling crap like going online and taking tickets with the intent of not attending in order to make it look like no one is interested in seeing him, and also planned disruptions to shut his rally down.

I don't quite get the whole concept of protesting a candidate. Isn't that the purpose of an election? To voice your approval or disapproval of the proposed policy? What is the protest intended to accomplish?

It won't work. His rally will still be packed, and it will go forward as planned. He'll handle the BLM "protestors." It's becoming almost routine.
I watched him, live streamed, earlier today in Rhode Island. He was very good, and what really impressed me was his amazing energy level. It will still be there in Pennsylvania. And then tomorrow morning on to somewhere else.
I couldn't do it. Not week after week, month after month, day in and day out. It has been rare for him to take a break, and then only very brief ones.
I could probably do it for a month or so, maybe, then some assistant would say, "Okay, now we're flying on to California." And I'd say, "You know what? Actually, I'm going to the range. Then I'm going to take a nap. That California thing? Screw that. Sorry. See you later, maybe."
And that would be the end of my brief political career.

HRKPara, thanks!
Was at the Dr office today, they have the TV in the waiting forever room, on it. The View, now I don't watch it because I have a job, and I"m not DVR'n that shidt.
But the subject was on politics, and they are hammering Trump, un-objective, bias, bullshit, and here I am to get a test of my new HBP medicine.
I was about to ask them to change it and was called right in, wheeew.
While I was having my BP tested I was talking with the nurse said if my BP is high it's because of those idiots on the View talking politics, suggested she change it or have high BP readings all AM LOL.
BP wasn't up, so the medicine combats the negative effects of the View, must be strong stuff.
April 25, 2016, 02:26 PM
justjoeI've never seen The View, but whenever I hear that show's name--
The View-- I picture Whoopi Goldberg with her head up her butt.
