Standing watches and talking with a guy who had lived in an area where the Hell's Angels were the dominant gang - there's nothing good about that organization. I have confidence that Trump has the intelligence to distance himself from such a group and the force of will to stay on the attack.

You kidding? . . . "so the grown ups can" TALK? Just when have you ever seen that result from Hells Angels? You are likely to get a melee and more as more rallies would go forward.

And, you would likely draw more and more knot heads and fewer regular voters at the rallies. Talk about distraction. Are you just gas lighting here?

Hell's Angels M/C have nothing to do with the group mentioned in the article. The authors of the article used a misleading title.

I didn't notice the distinctions as I didn't read the Daily Beast article. But, I'm not sure what is proposed is any better. Bikers are to deploy against protesters. They say that they are there to fight back if struck. It seems that it would lead to the violent result.
(Edit: My response was put in above paragraphs. And, I have no business posting right now. Wink )

Hang every single one of them.

Oh I agree, at least philosophically, and that includes scenarios where it's both legal and within Party rules. I'd settle for tarring and feathering them, if given the option.

Disagree. They MUST be tarred and feathered (with _boiling_ tar) first, then hung.

If it were actually legal to do so with these kind of folks, there would be a lot less tomfoolery...

Distraction is Trump's enemy. His message is so powerful that it catapulted him to the front of the Republican herd. But the man seems incapable of just walking away from a pissing contest. And the worst sides of his personality emerge in those petty ego squabbles, like his tweeting side-by-side photos of his model wife versus Ted Cruz's wife. That gains him nothing at all, except maybe some well-earned contempt.

When he is on message, he is incredibly good. As in this rally in Wisconsin:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?...ture=youtu.be&t=3945

Somebody maybe get him an electronic dog collar, with a remote switch. He goes off on Megan Kelly or Rosie O'Donnell or Ted Cruz's wife and ZAP!!

I'm glad to hear him say that. I thought it was a very juvenile thing to do re-tweeting that pic, regardless if Cruz had anything to do with the Melania ad. I hope going forward he starts showing better sense and class, and him expressing regret over that incident is at least helping me believe that he will.

Yeah, Toys for Tots, Veterans benefits rides, and several other charity functions, those Hell's Angels are a dangerous bunch. Are there some bad chapters, sure there are, but they'll also lose their charter pretty quick. And yes, I've known members from both the good chapters that will kick you out in a heartbeat for any drug use or criminal activity and I've seen bad chapters who were of the gang type that you describe who lose their charter as soon as they are discovered.

If Trump got elected, we'd have the opportunity to listen to all the leftist fools say the things we've been saying about Obama for years, and I would absolutely love it. Again, what does it matter any more? It's not as if there is one single shred of dignity left to the office of POTUS. Really, what does it matter? The morons of this nation have seen to that, so fuck 'em.
My sentiments exactly. This commie POS Muslim has crapped all over the Constitiution while these worthless gutless Republican asswipes have stood by. Let Trump fuck with all of them.!!!!!

The Republican establishment is so out of touch with the grassroots, that I've just been waiting for the equivalent of "Let them eat cake" from one of them. The arrogance is there, the narcissism, the snobbery, and they often sound like the French aristocracy. But there was not a good single quote.

Today there is. The Marie Antoinette Award goes to John Kasich, who thinks that there will be an open convention, out of which he will emerge as the nominee. And Kasich said, applying a touch more powder to his wig--drum roll please-- "It's going to be so much fun!"

I'm thinking at the convention, the Establishment will use Cruz to keep Trump from winning 1237 in round 1, then fuck over Cruz in round 2, then round 3 put out their own nominee (Mittens or Ryan).

Which could have easily been avoided to begin with by allowing a candidate to go to the convention with the 1,237+.

There is simply no way that's going to happen. It would mean the end of the Republican Party.

No. It's going to be either Trump or Cruz, because the third option is the end of the party.

For the past several weeks Mr. Trump has been working hard to prove the subject line of this thread. It's almost as if he wants to throw the nomination to Cruz. And in the process he has damaged his "brand" enough that there is no longer any realistic probability that he can win the general election.

So we better hope and work for a Cruz nomination to come out of the convention. Otherwise, we will all have to turn into rabid proselytizing missionaries for Trump (funny: like some here already are), and even then there will be no guarantee that we won't have another Clinton in the White House.

Thanks,

Sap
