If people don't make a stand now against the establishment, it may not ever happen again. How long before another billionaire comes along and says fuck you, I'm building a wall. No more illegals. No more jihadist types. I bet it will be never - if not now. I voted for Cruz but am fully behind Trump now if for no other reason than to screw the establishment. Time to make our party great again! Or, for the first time.

I would do everything I could to try to keep Hillary out of the Oval Office. But I understand your point of view. Completely.

We are seeing a coordinated attack against Trump.
First the protesting mobs yell, scream and obstruct at the rally. People react in justifiable anger.
Second, the media jump in and claim Trump is instigating violence.
When you pick a fight, you might get your ass kicked.

Dear Abbey...
I keep trying to understand the logic for anyone voting for Cruz or Rubio in the primaries (who absolutely see this as an "us or them" contest against the GDCs)???
I understand the positions of those who prefer Cruz or Rubio to Trump, but everything points to Trump having been the likely front runner for months. If all who have voted for the other two (yet still having in trouble voting Trump in the general) would have voted Trump, I believe he would be over the top by a good margin and this freight train wiukd decimate Hillary.
If one had no trouble prior to voting in the primary to vote for Trump in the general. Why not vote for him [in] the primary?
What am I missing?

Nice speech.
So you're going to vote for the criminal Democrat establishment pick rather than the Republican establishment pick. So very logical.

How about the dumb Hispanic girl yelling at the police with tears in her eyes that it's his responsibility if people get hit by the car trying to get through that mob?
Sure, sweetheart. That's how it works. It's everyone's responsibility but your own. Right.

I believe Trump would be the only one who could beat Hillary because her and Bill will run a campaign even more corrupt than Obama's last one, and Trump has the will to go after Hillary and Bill and the MSM who will be one their side for sure, and Trumps not afraid of any of them.

Sometimes you "hope" something is going to happen.
But you also "think" something else is going to happen.
I am starting to move from "hope" to "think" that Trump is going to be more and more accepted as the candidate. As long as he keeps showing strong voter support, the 3rd party stuff and the let's steal it for Romney (or Kasich or whoever) stuff is going to dissipate.
Others pointed this out previously, but should we really believe polls like this:
Clinton 40 // Kasich 48
Clinton 46 // Carson 45
Clinton 45 // Cruz 46
Clinton 44 // Rubio 48
Clinton 47 // Trump 41 ????
These poll numbers are the current RCP national poll averages.
If the Priebus / McConnell / Ryan types get behind Trump, and Trump goes nuclear on Clinton, I hope and think we will do okay.

Oh bless your little hearts. Some of you actually care about polls.
What about those polls showing Mittens would win? Polls only exist to manipulate you. Don't be a fucking idiot and believe them.

Dear Trumplexedmonkey,
In India there is a method of trapping monkeys. I'm sorry to use an example that might stir anxiety, or perhaps even bad memories regarding friends and family. But they put a mango inside a small cage that allows the monkey to reach in and grasp the mango, but not withdraw it through the bars. The monkey gets this delectable mango-- it's right there in his hand!-- but he can't get it out of the cage.
And he won't let go.
He holds on until he is pulled off the cage.
Do I need to extrapolate to the Cruz supporters? You are a smart monkey, I think you get it.

I wondered that, too. Maybe because they were simply outnumbered? (Not that this should be the reason, but I suppose there are practicalities in life to be considered....)

I will spend the rest of my living days actively working against the GOP/RNC if they are foolish enough to nominate anyone else beyond Trump or maybe Cruz. They will have effectively announced their own desertion, effectively proclaimed themselves as enemies, and will be attempting a nonviolent political coup, and will be treated accordingly at the ballot box and soap box from now until eternity, if they're that fucking foolish...
They, and we, and playing a game of chicken, and I will not flinch at the last minute due to fear. I will not. We have survived too much for too long, the last nearly 8yrs in particular, to give in to such chickenshit bullshit. To not heed such warnings is political suicide.
