“I’m going to start pressing charges against all these people,” Trump said.
The real estate mogul was unable to begin his speech, as the first half-hour of the event, and many times thereafter, consisted of protest outbursts. “I don’t want to ruin peoples’ lives, but the only way we’re going to stop this craziness is if we press charges.”

No, wait, let's have a debate with them.
It's startling to see someone actually do something to push back against these anti-American disgraces. Some of them will make a point to be arrested, of course, but I think Trump's threat will make many of these fools think twice.
Short of withdrawing from the contest, nothing Trump does will appease these tantrum-throwing children, so, I think his threat is appropriate.

At this point I am all in for Trump - the left and GOP establishment are going crazy for a reason.
TRUMP - 2016
Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

Funny you should say that because Rocky actually did end up being a great diplomat, even winning over the Russians with strength, determination, AND heart!

There is a reason the Secret Service provides protection for some Presidential candidates. DiMassimo's actions fall within the purview of that law.
OTOH, the Federal government has to demonstrate a willingness to prosecute.
Again, the Secret Service guys are stuck like the ham in the sandwich. I don't expect things to get better and cringe at the thought of another R. Kennedy or George Wallace.

Um, he's been a senator for how long? He deals with this shit everyday on a level Trump has no clue about.
Hummmmm . . . We haven't seen a lot of bloodletting violence in Congress since Rep. Brooks beat Rep. Sumner to unconsciousness with a heavy walking stick in 1856. Violence, where disrupters are swinging, has not been something Cruz has faced.
---
But, just what has Cruz done with his opponents in the Senate? The Code pink example is great. But, talking people out of their ideas is not necessarily what's needed to get backing for a result. Cruz seems to be able to tell people he is smarter or more understanding than they but he has not been able to translate his ideas into building a coalition or winning people to his agenda.
Cruz seems to think that he needs to convert people to his views to make progress. Frankly, that is not what politics in a pluralistic society requires. Like getting people to back the Constitution in the founding era, what you need is votes and another's reasoning is virtually irrelevant. You need their agreement to vote a certain way not agreement with your reasoning for voting a certain way.
Again, I like Cruz and wouldn't want to discourage his public service but president may not be the best job for his skill set.
Cruz has been a one man army against a battalion what exactly do you expect?
He may not be the street fighter you are looking for so let's just nominate Rocky Balboa he's a tough talking entertainer with 8th grade vocabulary.
Well . . . Maybe it IS time for a southpaw, Green Eggs and Ham hasn't seemed to work.
Furthermore, it seems that Cruz' work as an "army" has deployed the devastating weapon of holding his breath. And, he seems to get the typical parental response: "Go ahead."
Trump was not in the military but in his formative years, he was an inspirational company commander in his military high school. I rather like the complexity Trump brings. He even admits that while young and impetuous he gave a teacher a " black eye" which for some may show a bad underpinning but it also shows confidence.
Trump is now talking of using the law to see that protesters get arrested as a better course of action at his rallys. But, the notion that he is of a mindset to close and engage is telling. The left has been using the threat of violence too long to the detriment of our country - it even robs the protesters of a better path toward jobs and success in many ways.

The local news in Ohio reports that the individual in question is a professional activist known for going over the top. Hopefully Mr The Donald will make his offer to press charges retroactive through yesterday.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

Yes.
I am also concerned about the quiet, "shy" individual that keeps to himself.
I was startled yesterday, let alone Mr. Trump. And I saw it way after it had happened.
There's just so much that the Secret service guys can do. But the potential of up to three years in Federal prison, or more, under H.R. 347 can deter some.

CNN recently invited on air for an interview the former butler of billionaire businessman and presidential candidate Donald Trump, likely in the hope that he would divulge some sort of dark secret about the GOP front-runner that could be used against him.
Instead, host Carol Costello only seemed capable of prying a ringing endorsement of his former boss out of Anthony P. “Tony” Senecal, according to Breitbart.
One of Costello’s first questions for Senecal was whether Trump was the same person onstage at the debates as he is offstage in real life. Senecal affirmed that he was and that he had debated the same issues with his boss during the 20 years he worked for him as are being raised now.
“His interest in the American people, his patriotism … the man was born on Flag Day. He is a very patriotic person, and he wants what is best for this country,” Senecal explained.
Near the close of the conversation, Costello made one last attempt at digging up some dirt on Trump, asking Senecal if there was anything he could share about his former boss that her viewers may not realize.
“First of all, I tell you he’s an incredibly generous person,” Senecal said. “He’s been generous to his employees. He’s been generous to strangers.”
“He’s an entirely nice guy. He’s not the great gruff person that people play him out to be,” the former butler continued. “Sure, if you attack him, he’s going to fight back. But most of the time, he’s just a nice man. I mean, I lasted with him 20 years. He had to be pretty good.”

Trump really had a butler whose last name is Senescal??
With a name like that, it's like he was born into a family of butlers or something.
(A seneschal is basically a chief butler.)

That truly socks me, that a reporter would do such a thing. Not.

Have a question. The media has been saying a million times that the Trump supporter "sucker-punched" or "punched" the protestor. It looked to me like an elbow was thrown?
Side note----If I was a big young dude that went somewhere to protest and run my mouth and give the finger to everyone there.....I would probably die of embarassment from getting shell-shocked from an elbow thrown by a great grandpa. I would not be appearing on tv interviews to belly-ache about mistreatment.

Yes, it was an elbow. Earlier videos were a bit obscured and you couldn't see that bit of detail.
