For that to be true, it would then indicate that there are now "no go zones" for Republican political candidates. Very slippery slope that certainly has had precedence in other countries, of course.

I have to imagine that the RNC Convention in Cleveland this summer will be rather interesting.
Cleveland isn't exactly a Republican oasis. Watch as these little leftist shitheels swarm all over that place, especially if it appears that Trump will walk out of there with the nomination.
I'm betting that they're already organizing for it.

I am worried about the Cleveland convention.
Hell, if they try to steal the election, it might be us rioting demonstrating.

There are de facto no-go zones for Republicans. It's neither right nor good, but it's reality. I should be able to walk down the street in Compton without incident. I should be able to walk the streets of Dearborn wearing a yarmulke without incident. "Should be able to" is not a measure of whether it's a good idea, or even possible.

If you want to see some real racist hatred, check out this video of a black man selling Trump tee shirts and such-- and listen to the anti-Trump racists.

I'm not saying 100% blame Trump. But I could name a hundred things that you "should" be able to do that would be perfectly legal, and it would still be a bad idea. Pretending he's just an innocent victim that had no idea that something like this might happen is a non-starter.

Me too. I can imagine the ruckus and fracas. It's not like there's no precedent for it. In 1976 for a contested convention, hordes of angry Republicans took to the streets and almost burned the town down.
The following video shows the extent of the resulting bedlam. WARNING---it depicts scenes of extreme violence that may not be appropriate for children under 13. Parental guidance is strongly advised:

I can and have walked around in Compton, and oodles of other areas in Philly, New Orleans, Atlanta, and all around, and I'm white as white gets.
Fuck that shit.
There are zero no-go zones in this country, absolutely zero that concern me, and it's how it should be. Being afraid, giving in, is what gives legitimacy to such silly notions.
Your fearful, blame the victim, attitude is a larger problem.

Blaming Trump for the well-planned, organized and well financed violence yesterday by "irate protestors" is as big a lie as Hillary blaming Benghazi on a video.
Rubio, Kasich and Cruz, joining in on this lie, have aligned themselves with the leftist thugs-- BLM, Move-On and George Soros. Rubio and Kasich are beneath contempt--no surprise there-- and MSNBC, CNN and Megan Kelly totally predictable as well-- but I have lost all respect for Ted Cruz.
Commie totalitarians are trying to shut down free speech in America, and Cruz jumps right in and also blames Trump. Disgraceful.

The "protesters" came there with the intent to incite some type of confrontation. The organizers believe negative publicity can sway the election.
I predict their turnout in Cleveland for the GOP convention will be epic....no matter who the nominee is.

Not another word in this thread about "Trump is to blame" for the actions of others. I mean it. Not another word. Stop this stupid crap. If you want to act like a pissing, moaning Democrat, do it elsewhere. This is precisely the kind of sleazy, intellectually dishonest spew they come up with.
This is so freaking stupid, I can't even find the words. Enough.

I'm finding myself in kind of a Travis Bickle / Rorschach blend (cue Taxi Driver / Watchmen, if you need context) when I consider my hopes for this election outcome.
post-election, that is anticipating "Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets."
and at the end of President Trump's inaugural address, he addresses the free shit army / BLM / SJW, and let's them know "we're not locked up with you, you are now locked up with us (or GTFO to Canada or anywhere else that will have you).

It's a ball they want to get rolling, so that every violent "protest" is Trump's fault, and if the violence escalates, that too is Trump's fault. As you say, egregore, for the leftists to do this, and the establishmant, is completely predictable and expected. For Cruz to jump in is for me a defining moment. He is a phony, a creep, and I have zero respect for him.
But support for Trump will grow by leaps and bounds. And the more his rallies are attacked, the more his popularity will soar. Keep on bringing out illegal Mexicans in giant sombreros saying "Fuck America" and wrapped in the Mexican flag. BLM in "Fuck the Police" tee shirts standing on the American flag. Yep. Keep right on doing what you are doing. I thank you, and President Trump thanks you.
There is a video online linking him to ISIS. That video is reported to be a hoax.
