My wife thinks I'm voting for Trump despite the fact I told her I'm undecided. She wants Cruz and thinks Trump won't be any better than Barry. I told her I would vote for Trump just to watch the liberal heads explode when Trump wins the WH.

I think the m/n terminology is total delegates / bound delegates

A bound delegate is a person whose vote will be counted for the candidate they are pledged to regardless of what they actually do at the convention. Unbound delegates may be pledged by personal statements or even state law, but according to RNC rules, may cast their vote for anyone at the convention.

If no candidate secures the required number of delegates by the first ballot in Cleveland (through a combination of bound and unbound delegates), all bets are off, as most states release their pledged delegates at that point.

Trump certainly has the GOPe on the run.

Now, this was per National Review which has an anti-Trump bent, so I will take it with a grain of salt.

If he earns the nomination before the convention by earning enough delegates during the primaries that the party rules make him the nominee, so be it, and I will support him in November actively.

But if that voter count is true and it holds, one thing that could not be said about a convention where Mr. T winds up not earning the nomination was that it was somehow not reflective of the vote. The rules do not state that a candidate going into the convention with a lead but not enough delegates to clinch is automatically given the nomination.

My wife and I commented last night how presidential and humble (if you can call him humble), Donald Trump was last night.

We also were surprised that Cruz never once mentioned Hillary, but repeatedly mentioned Trump. Rubio kept repeating his conman mantra, but it only seemed weak.

I will proudly vote for Trump in the FL primary. He has shaken things, and it is as if both sides are terrified by him. It is as if the scales have been removed from our eyes.

Rubio is saying that since Trump has 35% of the votes so far, 65% of the voters do not want him. I would like to see that turned around. Since Rubio has about X% of the votes, 100-X% of the voters do not want him.

Facts have no intention.

This speaks to Trump's popularity. Within the rules, he has earned a bunch of delegates, and more power to him, but it is important to understand he has earned no mandate, and may never do so. He is not over 50% even among Republicans.

Also, keep in mind that their numbers could very well wind up combined, if for example Cruz and Rubio went into the convention and agreed upon a Cruz/Rubio or Rubio/Cruz ticket.

Actually, they have been anyway, but compelling proof has been hard to come by so they have been relegated to creativity and imagination, so it's been hard to make it stick.
