I've been stayin in a hotel all week without a tv. I haven't been able to watch all the Trump Hate on tv for awhile, & it's drivin me crazy. I know he's out there, saying some wild shit & the media is all over him.

My opinion as a lifelong independent is Bush won't cut it. He's not going to get folks in the middle, or on the fence, and without them his goose is cooked. I'd love a Cruz/Trump ticket. Actually think both could shake things up a little. Frankly though, imvho, nothing is going to change until we abolish national political parties and get the lobbying $$$ out of politics. The two party system needs to be broken apart and we need more political competition, so to speak.

Yeah, he's doing some sort of prep work. Might not be the kind of prep any other candidate would do, but he's getting ready somehow.

That's been a disaster in places that have it. Italy is an example, although not comparable in all respects to us. We have fewer Italians, more Irish than they do, for one thing.

Billionaire Donald Trump is blowing away his nearest competitor, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, 2-to-1, in a poll of Iowa Republican voters released Friday by Gravis Marketing on behalf of One American News Network.

Trump has a 15-point lead over Walker in the poll taken of 227 registered Republican voters in the Hawkeye State, asked Wednesday who among the GOP candidates for president they would vote for if the caucus were held today. The results, according to the poll:

Walker, 15.4 percent
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, 10 percent
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, 7.2 percent
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 6 percent

Trump is also leading in polls in New Hampshire and Arizona.

In the Gravis Marketing poll, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is leading the Democratic field in Iowa with 39 percent support among Democratic voters. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has support from 18 percent of the voters.

Message to any candidates paying attention: American voters are very pissed off.
