$5 says the eventual nominee picks a female VP candidate... Haley, Susana Martinez, or in Trump's case, Palin wouldn't surprise me.

We have to see where Trump shakes out.
His calling Cruz's win fraud and wanting a new caucus makes me wonder. Is his ego so big that he can't even wrap his head around the possibility of a loss? Is he burning out?

lastmanstandingConsider for a moment a Clinton/Sanders Sanders/Clinton ticket. Which combination of the GOP candidates would have a chance of beating that combination??
I think it 's not out of the realm of possibilities.

AckksNot only did he call him a cheat and call for another vote, but he's saying he's going to sue Cruz? Seriously? He looked really classy the other night. That was a guy who appeared humbled and ready to move forward as the front runner. He looked really good.
Now it looks like his ego slept on it for a day and he's throwing a hissy fit. So, while they are both now bogged down in this Rubio is going on all the shows today talking about unifying the party and getting a free pass. The media also loves it because they can let Hillary off the ropes for the coin flip disaster in Iowa and instead talk about what a liar Cruz is or how Trump can't handle losing.
And what is with Carson going home to get clothes? You are running a multi million dollar campaign and are a retired neurosurgeon. You can't afford to have someone bring your clothes from FL? There isn't a Men's Warehouse or dry cleaner in the entire state of Iowa?

Trump also is claiming that the Democrat party is going to the sue the ass off Cruz over the birther thing if he gets the nomination.
The law suit always has been and continues to be Trumps response to nearly everything.
One of the problems I have with him.

Carson going home to get clothes?
Political reporters and strategists have no idea what to make of Carson's decision. The most obvious theory is that he is preparing to drop out, but his campaign insists that is not the case.
There it is again: Fresh clothes. In fact, no fewer than three Carson aides reached by various members of The Washington Post staff cited the need for them in announcing why Carson was departing the campaign trail. This wasn't just an offhand excuse from Carson himself; it was the company line.
[Carson aides claim upcoming time off the campaign trail a long-planned break]
Thus, we're all left baffled. I mean, it's hardly surprising that a 64-year old — well, anyone, really — would be tired after months of a grueling campaign, but a presidential candidate isn't supposed to let on, right? I can hear Donald Trump's voice in my head: "low energy."
https://www.washingtonpost.com...needs-fresh-clothes/Ya.... I think it sounded like he was getting ready to drop out. He probably should, but that's his decision. But... Jeff Roe does have a reputation as a dirty-trickster.
BTW: With his own plane, the Trumpster goes home and spends most nights in his own bed.
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

nighthawkTrump said this morning that he only got nasty on Cruz, because Cruz attracted him first, and that he only had the highest respect for Ben Carson. The Michel Berry show in Houston then played. What Trump really said at the time, that contradicts what trump said this morning. He might start stepping in it now.

Cruz beats Rubio in Florida, no need for him on the ticket.
I'd rather see Cruz/Fiorina. Fiorina brings the female aspect and real world management experience aspect.

46and2having Rubio subordinate to Cruz on a ticket makes Rubio more tolerable/less concerning.
it will be interesting to see if Carson or Fiorina are tapped as VP by any of them.

BamaJeepsterJimmy Carter endorsed Trump over Cruz, says Cruz is too hard line conservative where Trump is 'malleable'.

46and2^ that ought to help pull some Sanders supporters who don't love Hillary, as they love the shit out of Jimmy. not that I think much of Carter's endorsement myself...

No, not if he stays focused on the message-- messages, actually-- that lead to his political rise.

Jeez...That's worse than a NYT or Tommy Chong endorsement...

I know it means little for us, but for them...
Trump is already favored in those circles, much more so than Cruz or Rubio - with Cruz getting no love at all and Rubio seeming reasonable to a few folks. Jimmy's endorsement helps Trump reach deeper into the Middle and near-Left, which only helps us if it happens.

olfuzzyCruz keeps poking him with a stick. There was a sound bite on radio today of him responding to Trump's rant about Iowa. "He was just having a Trumper tantum"
February 03, 2016, 06:21 PM
bubbatimeI'm so tired of Trump crying, whining, bitching, moaning, throwing trumper tantrums. I'd give him an economic post in the cabinet, nothing more.
