I'm really enjoying his candidacy so far. He's going to have to get way more specific on several fronts regarding how he intends to work with congress, etc, to get the things accomplished that he's been highlighting, but so far he's been a joy to watch. I'm digging how he isn't capitulating for the things he says. Other candidates spend half their time backpedaling, he doesn't. He's spot on regarding the illegals and I imagine his comments have the support of a massive silent majority. I hope, anyway.

When I was younger- and to an extent still- I was the guy who would speak up about the elephant in the room. I could not understand- and to an extent still do not- why no one else would say "There's an elephant in the room."

I think, aside from Trump, only Ted Cruz can come close to illuminating the uncomfortable territory we are in now, but Cruz is a politician. The Donald is one up on him in that respect.

I am confident Trump loves this country and would like it to be #1 again...and respected throughout the world, much to the chagrin of the Human Democrat Centipede.

I'd love to see him participate in formal debates and hold everybody by the nose and kick them in the ass- the moderators, the other participants, the news media, and the lumbering, fetid behemoth called the United States Government.

The thought of Trump debating Hillary is almost delightful enough to give a guy wood.

He might be the outlier that we need to shake things up. Cruz is the only one that hasn't majorly flip flopped. I fully agree he is a douche and would never vote for him but variety is what we need right now.

Well, there's gotta be something to be said for a candidate who won't have to shake down 'donors' to a 'charitable foundation' to enrich his family!

I would take off work to watch that debate. I'm ready for a non-career politician to be in the People's House. IIRC, there was an actor who did a pretty good job about 35 years ago.

While I view Trump as amusing, I really can't think of him as a serious candidate. In fact considering how crowded the GOP field is and how entertaining the Donald is, I'd venture to say he's dangerous. My personal opinion is, he's aiding and abetting his pal on the other side, she who shall remain unnamed.

Why is the Presidency important? While it's been turned into a shithouse by the current resident, if someone with half an ounce of sanity is not housed there soon, IMO, we're headed to the same place as Greece, Detroit and Chicago. Look into the reasons Greece is having troubles. Basically it's been a welfare state for decades. We've got to stop this slide toward socialism. It's either get it under control or find some way to call in Para's comet like you'd call in a coyote.

Granted, the current piece of shit that sits there warrants zero respect for all of the crap that he's pulled over the last 7 years. If someone spits on the Constitution, is it still worthy of respect? If someone steps on the Flag, is our Flag still not Dignified? That Office, much like the Flag and the Constitution still are worthy of Dignity and Respect. Just cause the family that's in that office have been wiping their asses all over everything doesn't mean that the Office is less Dignified.

As for Trump...
Trump IS NOT a Politician. He's a Businessman. Politicians cant take a stand on things... "Immigration", WE all know it's fucked up, we know that the gaping hole down there needs to be closed, but a Politician cant say that. Mexicans vote, and if you say that, Mexicans will vote for the other guy.

Welfare? Go ahead and say the words "Welfare Reform" while you're trying to get elected, see how fast you loose votes. We know that it needs to be done, but you'll loose votes if you do!

As much as Trump "Keeps it real", I think that is going to be his problem. There's a lot of voters that don't want or can't handle the truth. They just hear what they want to hear.

Sadly, being President (As the current piece of shit has shown us) isn't about "doing the right thing" or being a leader. It's about getting votes, and holding votes to stay in the office for another 4 years, then hopefully passing the torch to your buddy.


At this point, America, I think NEEDS a Businessman to run the show. America should be run somewhat like a business. Trump, or hopefully a more competent, low-key businessman might just be the ticket.

Last time that was tried, we got Billy Bubba Clinton (e.g Ross Perot)

When you study of his views he's Christie 2.0. There is also very little difference between a politician in DC and a successful businessman in NYC. He'll be fun to watch, but that's about it.
