This is my last post in this epic thread...it's been a wild ride since June 30th 2015...but it's about to end...

A big thank you to Para for starting it...there has been so much information shared here over the last 18 months...

I want to end with...God bless the United States Of America...and God bless the Presidency of Donald Trump

Trump needs to put out a DVD set, knd of like teams do after they win the World Series. It can start with his announcement to run, include the best clips from the campaign, then move to election night and show all the epic meltdows, and finish with the awesome concert last night and the inauguration today.

Hell I'd buy it.

I've read every post since day one and you might say it became an addiction, first thread I checked every day. I was off line for about a week a few months ago with computer problems and got behind by about 60 pages. For every 5 I read another 1-2 were being added but I finally got caught up.

I took a vacation day today so that I could watch this.

But I have my coloring book nearby in case some liberals start boring me with their nonsense.

Why Schumer got a ride in the Presidential limo? I don't see McConnell or Ryan in there.

What a great day! I feel like I got "My" country back.

OK, so we're wrapping this up in a matter of minutes.

After this long journey, I couldn't help but think of Winston Churchill's "end of the beginning" speech that he gave in November of 1942 in the wake of the second battle of El Alamein. When I looked at the speech, I noticed an interesting parallel between the British victory and our victory:

"The fight between the British and the Germans was intense and fierce in the extreme. It was a deadly grapple. The Germans have been outmatched and outfought with the very kind of weapons with which they had beaten down so many small peoples, and also large unprepared peoples. They have been beaten by the very technical apparatus on which they counted to gain them the domination of the world. The Germans have received back again that measure of fire and steel which they have so often meted out to others. Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. And so, here we are at the end of the beginning, and our foes have indeed been "beaten by the very technical apparatus on which they counted to gain them the domination of the world."
The leftists indeed "have received back again that measure of fire and steel which they have so often meted out to others."

But, even though we have been victorious, this is indeed only the end of the beginning.

And so, gentlemen and ladies, we now move into the era of the Trump Presidency.
