The 74-year-old singer joined the Frontmen of Country to perform the hit song, which he wrote in 1983.
Greenwood has performed at three previous presidential inaugurations, those of Ronald Reagan, George Bush and George W. Bush.
That was absolutely, without an doubt, one of the most inspiring things I've seen in many, many years. The song, the location, the crowd singing (including our new president ), and the old veterans at the end. I haven't been this moved in a long time.
