A staffer for Republican Senator Mike Lee told trade experts at a lunch in Washington this week that he is looking into ways to curtail the president's wide-ranging powers to impose tariffs, according to one of Lee's aides.

The aide said a bill could be introduced as early as next week, and it may require Trump to go through Congress to use tariffs.

Lee, who represents Utah, declined to comment for this story.

Under current laws, Trump doesn't need to consult with Congress before slapping tariffs on countries.

I certainly hope that between the law enforcement, military, and biker presence, all the Inauguration plans of the anarchist agitators are blown out of the water. These Soros paid (most probably) asshats need to be relegated to a dung heap with severe prejudice!

Organizers for #DisruptJ20 are planning to kick off the inauguration protests on Jan. 18 with a gay dance party outside of Vice President-elect Mike Pence’s Chevy Chase, MD home.

Fox News reported Friday on audio of a protester saying #Disrupt20 plans to “crash” the pro-Trump “Deploraball” on Jan. 19, which The Daily Caller’s source confirmed. The source said that several of the balls on inauguration night will be disrupted as well.

The Fox News report also described an anti-capitalist protest emanating from Logan Circle on the morning of the inauguration. The individual with intimate knowledge of the protests told TheDC that property damage will likely result from the protest.

Blocking streets and checkpoints would be illegal. Anyone doing so should be immediatedly arrested and jailed until the event is over. Rough handling permitted if resistance to arrest occurs. No quarter! If there is not enough jail space to do this, handcuffing them around lampposts off site would be OK.
