President Barack Obama will head to Capitol Hill Wednesday to meet with congressional Democrats about how to shield Obamacare from Republican efforts to dismantle it, a Capitol Hill source told POLITICO.
The meeting is at 9 a.m. in the Congressional Visitors Center auditorium and is for both House and Senate Democrats, according to a notice sent to members Friday morning.
“The Affordable Care Act has been successful in meeting its goals of reducing cost, increasing access and improving quality of care,” Pelosi wrote to members in a “Dear Colleague” letter this week.

In all fairness, when Russell Moore came out so anti-Trump, nobody was posting that the Baptists were stirring up shit again, and he is an actual leader with the SBC. Beck is just some personality who is vocal about his religion. He has no formal connection to the LDS church. Perhaps I seem a little outspoken about this, but it seems that whenever a Mormon, anywhere, says anything, people act as if it represents the entire group. The Pope is a communist, and Catholics get more of a break than a Mormon.
Bottom line is this woman has a personal axe to grind with Trump, and used her status with the choir to amplify her protest. It is a despicable thing to do, akin to wearing a work uniform to a BLM rally, thereby dragging your employer into the controversy. She is a nobody, and her spot will soon be filled by another. This crap is out of control. Tonight a group of my old HS friends decided to get together while I was in town. Unfortunately they had neglected to remember that I was leaving this afternoon. Ah well, next time.
A little while ago I get a text from one of the women, "we won't be doing this again". Oh god what the hell, we always have an awesome time.
Apparently one guy (Class behind mine), who has really gone off the rails since his divorce (read in 45 y.o. party animal) got in an argument with one of the older guys (class ahead of mine) in the group (and a long time family friend) and told him he as a total "Dick".
Why you ask? Was it because the older guy cautioned the younger on his heavy drinking or womanizing? That he was being a jerk to his ex?

It was because the younger guy brought up politics and got pissed that the older guy voted for... you guessed it... Trump. He started railing about what a racist, sexist, asshole Trump was and the older guy simply said that he agreed with some of his ideas so he voted for him. Then the younger guy went off and ended up calling him a "Dick". At that point, realizing the older guy was now pissed and would crush his out of shape ass,and the rest of the group was also now pissed, he elected to leave. AFTER creating a disturbance in a decent place and pissing everyone off.
