He did a lot of "crap": obamacare, fast and furious, IRS targeting, 2 wacko SCOTUS appointments, killed the coal industry, screwed up Iraq and Libya and gave rise to ISIS, created racial tension, turned police into human targets, restarted the cold war with Russia, helped arm IRAN and their terrorist surrogates, destroyed the government of Egypt, damaged our relationship with Israel and Great Britain, etc.

You are not serious are you (and is it would or will)? He has not even been sworn in and look at what has been done. We all see a can do, get it done, I love America, America first positive attitude out of Trump and it is spreading. America sees it and wants it.
It's the progressive left and their MSM propaganda arm that will use fake news and lies to try and impede this agenda (throw in some globalists, commies, elites, never-T-Rino's). Best have your senate and congressional reps on speed dial and let them know just what you expect every time a "Make America Great Again" agenda item comes up for a vote.

Make a difference? Good grief, man. He defeated Hillary Clinton. Are you blind? He's already made all the difference in the world. Barry, is that you, babe?
December 18, 2016, 08:44 AM
sigfreundI could never understand why people complained when Barry the Red was playing golf or otherwise off mindlessly entertaining himself. Whenever he wasn’t, he was doing things to the detriment of the nation. Fortunately he will soon be gone and won’t be replaced by a female version of the same thing, but dam’!: Be careful what we wish for.
President Trump will have a lot on his plate when he assumes office, but most will be things to be undone because they should have never been done in the first place. When did we forget as Thoreau pointed out “That government is best which governs least”?

My personal opinion and belief is he is a much better choice than the alternative. that being said he will fall into the political game, there are multi billion dollar corps involved in this game with smart and powerful people in control. I don't think he will be able to do nearly as much as he would like.

Let no one misunderestimate the significance of that feat.
If he takes the oath, then turns to the Chief Justice and says, "You know, this is a great gig, and high honor, but it's not my thing. I hereby resign, so let's swear in Mr. Pence right here and now, as long as everybody is here and all dressed up anyway. I've accomplished what was needed", he would go down as one of the great Americans in history, just for blocking the Bitch of Benghazi.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown December 18, 2016, 09:07 AM

Seriously?
Didn't see Para's post above?
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed?
DJT hasn't even been sworn in yet!
He's surrounding himself with very accomplished people who know how to get things done.
Let's give the man a chance to at least officially take office before passing such judgment okay?

Trump can't do everything he wants to do without Congress on board. He can't build "the wall" without funding, dismantle Obamacare, get SCOTUS nominees okayed by the Senate, etc. Well, now we've
got Congress on board. The "he [the president] will just veto it anyway" dog won't hunt any more.

I have no doubt established career politicians and lobbyists are going to try and teach him how the DC swamp works. They want to maintain their power, without really doing much to solve the problems we face (and most they created). $ in their pockets, cake to us. I think the DJT team is going to have some "non-traditional" ways of getting things done and/or get the message out who is standing in the way. He has shown he has does not have a problem calling out the corruption. That is when it is our time to act, examples; speaking with our representatives, contacting companies that want to move out of the US and let them know you won't buy their product (especially when it has the Trump-tariff on it). I don't want to think in terms of what he can't get done, business as usual in DC, don't expect much - instead what can, and needs to, be done - and he is willing to do it.

scsigsI do believe he will ruffles some feathers for sure, and I do agree with you that now is the time for us to act as well. One of the things I hope he does is make lobbying illegal because that's where lots of pocke lining and corruption comes from, but he is one part in a very big machine. I do think we are on the right path!

erj_pilotSpeaking of EC activities tomorrow, will the results be reported on Tuesady 20-DEC or will we have to wait until January when Uncle Crazy Joe opens the sealed envelope?

Skins2881Bunch of pessimists on here. Will he be able to do everything, no. Will he appoint 50+ federal judges and 1-3 SCOTUS justices? Yes. Will he push entitlement/welfare programs over job creation? No. Will he attempt to lower the cost of doing business in the United States? Yes! Plus there's the wall thing too!
If the above isn't enough of a reason to rejoice, just remember HE KEPT HILIARY OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE! If that's his biggest accomplishment of his presidency I'd call it a success.

One thing he can do is to utilize the bully pulpit. Every time some politicraP cuts some kind of dumbass deal that benefits himself or the lobbyist's client, call them out in public!
"News Flash, Congressman John Doe just tried to push through legislation that benefits his largest lobbyist' company."
And he will get a lot done because the people are behind him, he owes no loyalty to anyone but the American voters. He cannot be bought!!

braillediverDoes the President have a Line Item Veto for the budget?
Trump seems to read the paperwork and has an eye on costs. If so I hope he vetoes everything he sees as unfit.

Tonyny Obama slams electoral collegeThe community organizing fraud would be filled with praise if Hillary won the election because of the electoral college.
The shameful and outright dishonest actions, violence, and remarks by the democrats/Clinton supporters have been nothing short of outrageous.
They banked on never losing another election spending over a billion dollars to do it.
Flooding the country with third world refuse/lifetime democrats, welfare parasites who make their living off of the American taxpayers as their career choice.
Obama needs to pack his things and leave. I'm tired of this "man" using his seat as President to try and help the Clinton's remain in power. The Electoral College has been our system forever. That's just the way it is. They can't go and change it now because they believe that Hillary won the "popular vote".
If they pull any sort of nonsense like that, I'd expect Trump to demand an entire nation wide recount.
