Debo Adegbile worked to appeal the conviction of Mumia Abu-Jamal, who murdered a Philadelphia police officer in 1981
Obama tried to make Adegbile Assistant AG for Civil Rights in 2014. That appointment was stopped by the senate 52-47.
The Obama administration announced on Thursday that it was nominating Adegbile for a six-year term on the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Unlike its appointment of Adegbile in 2014 to chair the Justice Department Civil Rights Division, this nomination does not require approval from the Senate.
The International Union of Police Associations:
“President Obama has, once again, gone out of his way to demonstrate his utter distain for our nation’s law enforcement officers,”
John McNesby, president of the Fraternal Order of Police’s chapter in Philadelphia, lashed out at the Obama administration over the appointment, calling it “Obama’s goodbye present to police across the nation.” “That’s just the old kick in the teeth to the cops,” McNesby said
As angry as Obama's childish tantrums make me, I console myself with the knowledge that the new administration will start unraleving his failed "legacy" on day one. The disease that is Obama has deep roots but as I look at Trumps' cabinet I know they will be able dig them out and toss them in the burn pile.

I've been in both situations. A crank caller to a major company I worked for identified himself as FBI and attempted to lure our people into an offsite meeting. A call to the FBI and we knew it was a phony. At other times the FBI called to set up meetings with us, and in each case they only discussed the issues in concern when we were face-to-face and they had presented identification.
The most important election in our entire history as a Nation, and it may go down as the most poorly-handled.

He did a lot of "crap": obamacare, fast and furious, IRS targeting, 2 wacko SCOTUS appointments, killed the coal industry, screwed up Iraq and Libya and gave rise to ISIS, created racial tension, turned police into human targets, restarted the cold war with Russia, helped arm IRAN and their terrorist surrogates, destroyed the government of Egypt, damaged our relationship with Israel and Great Britain, etc.
