They can only further damage themselves with this kind of thing. I'm kinda glad they did this. Think about all those millions who voted for Trump. How do you think they feel about these elitists blatantly attempting to negate their vote? Do you think they'll make any new friends on the left? No, those people are already on board with these fools.
All they can do with stuff like this is alienate people who would otherwise be indifferent to them and their message.

They want to draft Kasich.
"Governor Kasich's refusal to go against his party and promote himself as a white knight signifies many things about his statesmanship and respect for his party and our democratic system, but it does not signify a deterrent for electors considering drafting Kasich, or any other eminently qualified candidate, to stop Trump. If Republican electors agree that Kasich has the statesmanship and experience required, they can write him onto their ballots December 19 and are in fact compelled to do so."
They come, whose counsels wrapp’d the land in foul rebellious flame, Their hearts unchastened by remorse, their cheeks unting’d by shame. Be still, be still, indignant heart—be tearless, too, each eye, And put your trust in God, my boys, and keep your powder dry.

This is exactly how I feel about the Russia crap. I, and millions of other Americans, know who we pulled the lever for and why we did it. Putin didn't check off "Trump" for us nor did he coerce us into doing so. We did so because of the absolute disaster that is Hillary, and we were sick of being called every "-ist" known to man. Now we are being told were were tricked by Russia? Uh-huh. Keep telling yourself that.

RNC's Spicer 'leading candidate' for press secretary, source says
Republican National Committee chief strategist Sean Spicer is the front-runner to become White House Press Secretary in Donald Trump's administration, a senior transition official told Fox News Thursday.
Spicer, who was named the RNC's communications director in 2011 and added the post of chief strategist to his duties in February 2015, was an adviser to the Trump campaign and has become a senior spokesman for the president-elect's transition team.
The Washington Examiner first reported that Spicer was a leading contender for the press secretary role.

The Left might find very few in law enforcement or the military willing to follow their lead if they take this stupidity to its ultimate conclusion.

And, by the way, the irony of their claim is the least qualified person ever to be president is the one leaving on 1/20.
This is what happens when C-list celebrities aren't getting work. They think this passes for being relevant.
In the House, each state has one vote in these cases. I can't imagine that the vote for a state will be other than by majority vote of that state's representatives, and on party lines. Trump wins.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Absolutely! I'm so sick of these self-aggrandizing celebs thinking they have some special gravitas to be leading a political charge. I'm now only interested in seeing more of them crying when Trump is sworn in on Jan.20th. Now that's entertainment!

Spicer is OK, but I like Kimberly Guilfoyle. I think it would be slightly harder for the press to paint things as misogynistic when coming from a female Press Sec.

a follow up on the muslim girl in NY who made the false claim
A Muslim teenager accused of lying to police about being racially abused by three drunk Trump supporters on a Manhattan train appeared in court with a shaved head - a punishment ordered by her Egyptian parents for bringing shame to their family.
Days after reporting the crime, Seweid went missing, sparking a missing person's appeal and another large police effort.
Police originally investigated the case as an anti-Muslim bias incident and spent significant resources trying to track down those responsible. Seweid even provided police with a description of the 'suspects', one of whom cops thought they spotted on video following her when she got off the subway at Grand Central Terminal
'She had numerous opportunities to admit nothing happened and she kept sticking by her story', police said.
Authorities looked at surveillance footage but could not find evidence to corroborate Seweid's story.
Investigators had called in the Long Island teen on Wednesday to work on another sketch of her 'attackers' and confronted her with the inconsistencies
That's when she finally admitted to police that she had fabricated the story, saying she didn't want her parents angry with her for breaking curfew after being out late drinking with friends.
Seweid's strict, Muslim-Egyptian parents allegedly forced her to shave her head over the incident and are upset she is dating a Christian.
Among those to support her in court on Wednesday was Seweid's older brother Abdoul who was himself arrested in 2012 for lying to police.
He claimed his friend had been 'assaulted by three unknown males', but was later charged among other teenagers with breaking into cars to steal their valuable contents near their home in New Hyde Park.
I got my hair cut yesterday in Hershey at a salon I've been going to for a decade. Six women work there, and they all voted for Trump. Enthusiastically. The woman who cut my hair said to me, very seriously, "I hope Trump realizes how much we need him to do what he says. We need him to keep his word so bad."
It's wonderful to see the live stream from The Giant Center in Hershey. He is elected. This is not campaign fluff. His message is the same, and it's thrilling to hear it.
Now they're playing the Stones "You Can't Always Get What You Want" as they always do at the close of his rallies. It shows such a great sense of awareness and humor.
We didn't want a first-rate ass clown. But "You get what you need!" And he, with all his flaws, with all his rough edges, is exactly-- exactly-- what we need.
"You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

I'd prefer Milo. The daily press meetings would be 'fabulous', and the smack downs he'd level on those egotistical clowns would be epic. And since Milo is gay, the media would be tied in knots trying to deal with him. Now that's entertainment!

I love this Thank You tour. I also love what it does the to the TV programming schedule. I get Lou Dobbs on Fox Biz for the better part of two hours. I don't have to watch that flatulating butthead on regular Fox at 8 PM. Then, Kennedy gets to be on Fox Biz at 9 PM ET. I don't have to consider watching that mean girl who does regular Fox before Hannity comes on.
