Outstanding. That's music to my ears.
I can just see it now- all these Global Warming imbeciles deleting stuff off of their computers, taking down Facebook posts that weep about the rise of the oceans, cleaning out desk drawers, shredding documents, etc.
You're scared?
GOOD!! We the People are coming.

They better enjoy the next 30 or so days. They may be able to reject a request from the transition team, but once the new sheriff is in town and a new director is in place, as we like to say down in these parts...That dog won't hunt.

Deleting e-mails, even!
What about the Federal Records acts which require those things be preserved?
Didn't we just go through all that?
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown December 13, 2016, 03:02 PM

NYC mayor Bill de Blasio and his administration sent out an email with a list of
mental health resources for city workers who are “feeling distressed or vulnerable following the election results.” Nearly 80 percent of the city voted for Hillary Clinton.

“In the same way President Kennedy talked about the space mission and got the country behind that, I think whether it’s education or stopping epidemics, other health breakthroughs, finishing polio and in this energy space, there can be a very upbeat message that his administration is going to organize things, get rid of regulatory barriers, and have American leadership through innovation. ”

The administration is about to go to war with Big Liberal Government. They've gotten away with defying congress, but they are threatening to defy their own boss. They'll trot out the civil service regs, public sector unions, and plenty of lawyers, but there will be blood. The People have a champion.

IcabodSlight drift.
Was at Walmart buying some gift cards for charity. Guy in front bought over $500 in clothes and toys for young children. He was buying for a church charity.
Thing is everybody was smiling and saying "Merry Christmas." It seemed the "happy holidays" stuff got switched off and we've defaulted to a real Christmas. There seems to be hope again.

There are always ways around that if it is really desired to get rid of an employee. And I'll bet Trump and Perry can find the ways.

If those employees are currently working on an agenda/program that will be discontinued, then they would be surplus employees and could be fired IMO.

sdyWe are six days away from the electoral voters casting their votes.
On 19 Dec, each state will convene their electors and tally the vote for their state.
The RNC is keeping a close watch on the proceedings.
http://www.politico.com/story/...toral-college-232537The Republican National Committee is overseeing an expansive whip operation designed to lock down Donald Trump’s Electoral College majority and ensure that the 306 Republican electors cast their votes for the president-elect.
Two RNC sources familiar with the effort said the committee — with the assistance of state Republican parties and the Trump campaign — have been in touch with most of the GOP electors multiple times, and has concluded that only one is a risk to cast a vote against Trump on Dec. 19, when the Electoral College meets.
There is an intense push by Democratic electors to convince 37 of their Republican counterparts to jump ship.
State party leaders, the RNC sources said, are in frequent communication with electors through phone calls and letters. They have identified multiple points of contact for the GOP electors and also monitor their social media, all to guard against the prospect of electors voting for someone other than Trump.
“It’s good strategic cooperation. I think right now, they’re getting a pretty consistent message back from the states that everything’s good.”
Many electors have reported receiving thousands of emails a day from people attempting to convince them to reject Trump.
*****************************
sounds like the RNC is on top of this. But more reason to hope the DEMs are crushed for a long time.
Diff topic:
McConnell and Ryan are strongly supporting Rex Tillerson for Sec State. That is good. Trump will need strong Rep congressional support to get his agenda accomplished. McConnell's leadership will be needed to get the cabinet nominees approved in the Senate.
Amazing how fast things have been coming together. Trump, McConnell, and Ryan could have an awesome first year if they work together and get very aggressive.

Trump's first 100 days will cause leftist heads to explode. If you think you've seen it all, just wait.
I don't expect I will agree with everything Trump does, but it will be miles better than the previous President.
