Speaking of SCOTUS nominees, I hope Trump can find a black, female conservative judge to nominate. The Dem's heads would spin right off!

how about we get some righteous MSM interest in some potentially real voter fraud?

Green Party candidate Jill Stein’s Michigan recount unintentionally exposed major voter fraud in Detroit.

Election officials in Michigan found that 37% of precincts in Detroit tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Hillary Clinton won Wayne County over Donald Trump 67% to 30%. State officials are planning to examine about 20 Detroit precincts where ballot discrepancies occurred.

Detroit News reported:

Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election, according to Wayne County records prepared at the request of The Detroit News.

Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Voting irregularities in Detroit have spurred plans for an audit by Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, Elections Director Chris Thomas said Monday.

The Detroit precincts are among those that couldn’t be counted during a statewide presidential recount that began last week and ended Friday following a decision by the Michigan Supreme Court.

Democrat Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly prevailed in Detroit and Wayne County. But Republican President-elect Donald Trump won Michigan by 10,704 votes or 47.5 percent to 47.3 percent.

Overall, state records show 10.6 percent of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the retabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals.

The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, or nearly 60 percent. And two-thirds of those precincts had too many votes.

“There’s always going to be small problems to some degree, but we didn’t expect the degree of problem we saw in Detroit. This isn’t normal,” said Krista Haroutunian, chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers.

State officials are planning to examine about 20 Detroit precincts where ballot boxes opened during the recount had fewer ballots than poll workers had recorded on Election Day.

Not normal? Au contraire, mon amie. In democrat strongholds, it's quite normal.

You mean like the one who is quoted below?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

CBS and NBC reporting that Trump has selected Rick Perry for Dept of Energy

http://hotair.com/archives/201...ry-gets-energy-post/

The other contenders for the position were Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, and Ray Washburne, a key Trump fundraiser, former RNC finance chair, restaurateur and investor in oil and gas operations.

*****************************

Compared to the weak line up that Obama picked, Trump is pulling together a power house administration.

Anybody remember a few months ago when the "experts" were saying no one would want to be in the Trump administration?

I just wish he picked Chuck Norris as Secretary of State. That's all. Wink

She wouldn't retire while Zero was in office, she definitely won't anytime soon. Death is our only option at this point or maybe a few more "falling alseep" moments in the public spot light.

Kanye West dramatically met President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday - and was embraced by the next leader of the free world as a 'friend'. West was cleared by the Secret Service to meet Trump despite concerns he had been under a pyschiatric hold in a California hospital until last week - then he handed the next leader of the free world a book of photos of nudes and people in hoodies and tattoos.

The 15-minute meeting, however, did not include a request or an offer to perform at the presidential inauguration next month, TMZ reported. Instead, Trump said, they talked about 'life' - and he happily posed, giving his signature thumbs-up, with Kanye and his daughter Ivanka in his personal office.

Then Trump descended to the lobby of Trump Tower to say goodbye to West, an honor he has extended to just one other visitor, and to none of the people he interviewed about top-level posts in his administration.

'We’re just friends, just friends. He’s a good man. Going well. Long time – We’ve been friends for a long time,' Trump said. 'Life, we discussed life.'

NYC Offers Post-Election Counseling

NYC mayor Bill de Blasio and his administration sent out an email with a list of mental health resources for city workers who are “feeling distressed or vulnerable following the election results.” Nearly 80 percent of the city voted for Hillary Clinton.

City Hall Press Secretary Eric Phillips commented on the email, saying, “The post-election period has been anxiety-producing for many people, understandably. When you throw the holidays into that, it can be a very difficult time for those coping with mental health challenges.”

I guess that would be all Clinton voters

de Blasio better save some of that counseling for a month or two. Like they say, "he ain't seen nothing yet"

There's a big difference. Right now I'd guess that only about 25,000 actual postings have been made (I don't know how to obtain the real value), but we apparently are approaching the 2 million views mark. That would average out to around 80 viewings per post. OTOH, it may be that "Viewings" are counts of how many times the pages have been accessed, in which case an average of 1600 views of each page have occurred.

The policy’s official launch was a flub: At a Geneva news conference in March 2009, Clinton presented Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov with a mounted red button emblazoned with the word “reset” in English and the Russian word “peregruzka” — a translation error by the U.S. team that left the bewildered Lavrov puzzling over a term meaning “overload.”

Yeah, Phil Reines swiping the emergency stop button from the hotel's jacuzzi and then adding the Russian word for "overcharge" is just so 'nyet'.

Going to be some sparks flying

http://thehill.com/policy/ener...ffers-names-to-trump

The Department of Energy said Tuesday it will reject the request by President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team to name staffers who worked on climate change programs.

Energy spokesman Eben Burnhan-Snyder said the agency received “significant feedback” from workers regarding a questionnaire from the transition team that leaked last week.

“Some of the questions asked left many in our workforce unsettled,” Snyder said.

The survey for department leadership included more than 70 questions regarding what the agency does, its workforce, costs, professional affiliations and more.

But it also asked for a list of employees who worked on various climate change priorities in President Obama’s administration, including the Paris climate agreement and the social cost of carbon, an accounting measure for the costs of climate change.

That led to fears that Trump’s administration was undertaking a “witch hunt” to single out those workers.

“We are going to respect the professional and scientific integrity and independence of our employees at our labs and across our department,” Burnham-Snyder said in the Tuesday statement, first reported by The Washington Post.

“We will be forthcoming with all publicly-available information with the transition team. We will not be providing any individual names to the transition team.”

The head of the union for workers at the Energy Department's Washington headquarters had also expressed concern with the questionnaire.

Laws and regulations regarding civil service workers make it illegal to fire or punish workers for political purposes, even when an administration changes.
